Working in TrueNAS Build
Using a pair of 2TB WD Black SN850X's in a small flash TrueNAS build on this adapter in a bifurcation slot without issue. I do wish though that the mount points of the SSD's were raised further off the PCB. When secured in place, the SSD's are extremely close to the PCB. So the common format of integrated heatsinks probably won't allow the SSD's to be screwed down.

Works with Supermicro X10 board
After setting up the BIOS IIO options accordingly, the server recognized both NVMEs.Works as expected, no issues.Securing the drives on the board is a bit confusing: you have to unscrew the copper standoff, insert the drive, install the standoff back and screw the standoff back again from the back side of the board. The screws in the box are just spares.

Great for adding NVMe drives to servers with limited space
I got this PCI adapter because I wanted to put it in Dell PowerEdge R630 home lab servers that I was going to build a VMware vSAN with. The servers didn't really have drive bays to accommodate U2 format NVMe drives so by using one of these cards with M2 format NVMe drives I could get enough drives into the servers to use them as vSAN nodes. The card requires slot bifurification to be turned on so some systems may not support it. If you don't enable slot bifurification then your server won't be able to see all the NVMe drives installed on the card. When properly configured though the R630 works just fine with this card and it was much cheaper than some of the name brand cards such as Super Micro that cost 2-3 times as much. For a home lab this card is a great solution for a cheap way to build a real vSAN without spending a fortune. Highly recommended.

Awesome!
What an amazing product, that just.. works! I know it's in the product page, but some people don't know.. One slot is NVME (Uses the PCI-E Protocol, and the M Key Interface) and the other slot is SATA NGFF (Uses the SATA Protocol, and the B-Key Interface). The SATA NGFF will require a SATA data cable.Once you have that sorted, you have storage heaven! I use this in a little workstation that is low profile. Since it's a little PC, having room for one 3.5 HDD, or two 2.5 in a stacked configuration (using a 3.5 to 2x 2.5 case mount adapter) the extra storage helps immensely! I have 4 storage devices in the little beast! Even a Low Profile gpu. Gotta love it!

Painless storage addition to PC...
After using NVME sticks in mini-PCs I wanted to give them a try in my conventional PC - this 2-slot card was a great way to try it out without investing too deeply, and it turned out to be well made, was easy to install, and was recognized by my garden-variety MSI motherboard. None of this may be magical to the "old hands" but I was quite happy with the result. Having fast + easily upgraded storage without fiddling with SATA cables and mounting screws is just fine with me.

Works amazing on my 5,1 Mac Pro.
There is nothing to dislike about this card. If your looking for a non bifurcation nvme card that is cheaper than the sonnet m.2 cardI have this installed in my 5,1 Mac Pro and with open core hardware acceleration read/write speed is 1400plus mbsVery happy with this card if you have an legacy mac and are looking for a cheaper alternative this is perfect

Would be better if it included documentation
Well made item, but did not include any kind of documentation. Did find some info on 10Gtek website after some digging around the many different menu options.

Worked out of the box.
Installed a 2tb ssd on it and plugged it in. Windows recognized it with no issues.
