At the time I ordered this I needed it to supplement my too short hose that wouldn't reach every plant for my watering. (That hose has since been replaced by a much better and longer one.) I no longer need it to carry water, but this bucket is so well made and so effective at helping me to carry stuff I use it for every outdoor need. Those 40-pound bags of salt for water softeners? Break it down into four parts using this bucket. Watering all the smaller plants on the porch's plant shelves? Fill it up and use a cup to dip into it to get the right amount for each small pot. Moving stuff from the kitchen to the porch table? Make it easy by using this bucket for carrying multiple small objects.Buckets may not be at the top of "rave" pile. But even though they do not make the glamour list they are practical, necessary and if made well, super useful in everyday life. And this particular bucket is at the top for all of those things. Highly recommended.

We keep buying more of these buckets because they're sturdy, affordable, and versatile. First I bought two and they really held up. Then I bought two more and I thought that would be enough. Well I just ordered my 5th and 6th Rubbermaid 15 quart blue bucket. We use them to carry water, for extra water stations for the chickens and dogs. We soak rags and dish towels in them. We mop from them and clean the deck from them. They really come in handy.

This is a great product. It is very sturdy. I use it for the garden. It was a better price than I could get at my farm stores in town.

Bigger than expected…but really like it…sturdy

The bucket seems to be well made. it is shorter than I expected but I am using it to catch dehumidifier water so that is not really an issue. My complaint would be that the pour spout is quite shallow and water has to be poured slowly or it will overrun the spout and spread to the entire width of the bucket.

This bucket is solid, big, and due to the rectangular shape doesn't seem to splash as much as my previous round bucket.

This is a great all round bucket! Very sturdy and the perfect size. Buy it!

I use these square buckets on my boat. You can put them up next to a corner or wall, and being square they are less likely to move about in rough seas. They also are volumetrically more efficient, as they are not as tall as an equivalent round bucket. I recently had to replace a roughneck bucket that I had since '97 - it had become brittle and cracked. So don't expect these buckets to last more than 25 years. Pricey, but still made in the USA.

Old model with no side reinforcements was sent. This deficiency makes it unstable and weal after filling with water. Whereas I ordered for the new model which had side reinforcements. Even the picture shown while ordering had those reinforcements.
