I went for a hike with some friends while on a trip, but I am still recovering from a bad ankle sprain/surgery, so my physical therapist suggested getting some trekking poles for the hike, since there were a lot of hills where I went. I did a little bit of research and came across these. They were a little more than I wanted to spend, but I really liked that they folded up to a size small enough to fit into a backpack. I was able to get them set up quickly and adjusted to the correct height. They were sturdy and lightweight, so they were easy to carry and use. I like that they have multiple options for the feet depending on the terrain you're hiking on. I didn't change out the feet, so I'm not sure how easy that process is. The green color was very nice. The bag was sturdy. I don't really like that the bag has an opening at the top, though. I kind of wish it had the option to cinch all the way closed. Overall, these

The poles have a unique design that makes them ultra-lightweight, yet strong enough to handle the toughest terrain.We got these collapsible trekking poles for a weekend hiking trip and we were really impressed with them. They were extremely easy to set up and break down, making it simple to get on the trail quickly without having to fiddle around with complicated assembly instructions. The extra-long foam handles provided me with plenty of comfort while still allowing me to maintain my grip on the poles even when they were wet or muddy from rain or snow melt. The metal flip locks were also very reliable; I never had any issues getting them locked into place securely so I could adjust their height as needed without worrying about them slipping out of position mid-hike.

I’m 60 and need to hiking. I don’t have balance issues but I do worry about sliding or losing footing on our rocky trails.These poles have been in three hikes with me at this writing and have been fantastic partners. I’ve used them on incline and decline, feeling so much safer. I’ve also used them in sand and gravel where footing is awkward. They fold up very small but are very secure when opened. These arrived the day after I ordered them. I have to say I’m very impressed. The finish is really nice, they feel light and sturdy and are easy to assemble. I had seen the video explanation. But the markings on the poles themselves give a clear indication of what to do. They are study and light, fold down small and come with a neat bag. I like the fact that the adjustment clamp is positive but unobtrusive when in place. There’s a small Velcro strap to hold it all together when folded. The wrist straps are ok, I suppose you might expect a better quality strap if you were paying four times as much for a premium brand. They come with spare rubber tips and baskets for snow and mud - you pay extra for all of this with some of the top brands. These adjust between 115 and 135 cm long. Bear that in mind - I’m 5’11” and I’ll be using these at the shortest length (115cm) - I do the same with ski poles, it just seems to suit me. My point is, whilst they say they suit people from 5’6” or whatever, if you are on the shorter side, you may find these are too long for you. Overall, I am very chuffed with these and thoroughly recommend them. I’m going to give them some serious use, I’m glad I didn’t splash four or five times as much for Leki poles or similar as I’m not sure I would have got much more value.

They seem like good quality for the price. Easy to set up & pack down. Comfortable & lightweight; note, I have not given them a proper test yet, but have tested on a shorter walk. I think they should do the job. I am 165cm & find the height works for me. I have long legs & shorter body type for reference. (Read previous reviews before purchasing & a few mentioned they found them too tall. The recommended height is in the description). Will purchase another set if they do okay after our next trip away.

I was cautious when I read some of the negative reviews but found that if you follow the instructions carefully for putting them together, there was no problem with collapsing as others commented on. Easy to adjust and the perfect size for my luggage when folded down. Great value for the price.

I have been looking at walking sticks for a while now. When I saw these from TheFitLife I thought I would give them a try.Very pleased I did, the first thing you notice is how light they are being constructed out of aviation grade aluminium (266 g) each pole, and coming in a carry bag was a bonus, this bag has loops for attachment to a backpack or a belt. Once out undo the Velcro strap and then fold out, after that push the sections together making sure the top section is extended until the button is heard to click out and they are ready to use. There are adjustable straps on the handle to secure over your wrists, and they are height adjustable.I found walking with them very easy and it has helped my mobility with much better balance.Included in the bag are nice clear instructions, snow and mud baskets and spare rubber tip.A well made and very handy bit of kit for outdoor walks.
