I bought this to use with my tablet. The wrist rest is wonderful to type with. The padding is comfortable and it's very nice that my things aren't sliding around. The pockets are nice to put some small stuff like pencils and note pads. It's light and doesn't add much more weight to my set up.I took a star off since the angle of the cushion makes it so that the angle for tablets is too steep to comfortably use in the tablet slot. I think this is pretty good to use at home for a laptop set up. If you want to use it with a tablet, keep in mind that you may find the angle to be a bit steep.

I previously had a lap desk like this one before. However it had more about bean bag cushion for the bottom and while I enjoyed using it and it was convenient, it wasn't very comfortable and it wasn't soon after that the cushioning just wore out.I knew I wanted a new one but I wasn't sure if the same thing would happen with a more solid foam type cushion. Having seen this one and having a love for carbon fiber and all things black I had to pick it up and take the chance.I'm very happy that I did. I have had this for almost 2 months and it is a solid piece that feels durable and substantial enough to hold a heavier laptop or just to rest your Kindle or tablet in your lap it does the job. It's got the nice compartment at the top for your pencils or stylus to keep track of whatever little things and it also has a pocket at the top that stretches out from the fabric.I'll be honest, I don't use the pocket at all and I often forget that it's even there. I seriously did forget until writing this review that it was there but I can see it's value because it does have a nice snug elastic top to the pocket so it would keep something secure in there if needed.The desk is comfortable in the lap without being overwhelming and like you have a big bulky item you have to hold on to constantly or it'll slip from your lap. This stays put is nicely padded and is also lightweight. I've relied on it for hours of use before and I have no doubt I'll be getting a lot more use out of it.This is definitely an item I highly recommend and have to say is pretty darn stylish.

Bought this table/tray for when I’m doing work on the couch, the recliner, or really anywhere that isn’t a desk. Fits my laptop, cushion is comfy. Very nice for the price.

I had to return this to product as i ordered the medium originally, and i purchased the large one. The medium was just a bit too small for my 11.5" laptop with a mouse on the side., so that was my fault for not looking closer at the measurements for this. However, I loved this it was perfect has a perfect holding piece for you phone and anything else you needed by your side. I just started college and this was perfect for my online classes.

I got this on a sale so I’ll say right off the bat, this product is not worth the normal $59.99 price tag. You could get a considerably nicer one for the same price or less. The lap desk itself gets the job done and isn’t really anything to write home about. However, the primary issue I have is whomever decided to place a sticker on the front. This sticker is not one that was made to come off easily/in one piece and the residue it left is going to drive me insane. If you have to put a product information sticker for legal reasons, that’s fine, but make sure it’s one that won’t instantly downgrade the quality of the item once removed. Now instead of enjoying my new lap desk, I have to find away to clean this; so if this is something that would bug you too, I’d recommend purchasing something else.Additionally, the edges of the lap desk aren’t smooth whatsoever; they are mostly blunt, which makes for an uncomfortable user experience. While trying to clean off the residue from the sticker they slapped on it, my hand slipped and knocked against the edge which didn’t feel great and at first I thought I scraped myself.Summary: I did receive a lap desk that functions…but I would highly suggest looking elsewhere to get the quality one would expect from a normally $59.99 product.

Very comfy, good size, nice color & material

This perfect while working on my lounge chair. Perfect height, perfect size...just a little tight with a mouse, by I have managed to make it work. The quality is great, the padding is perfect on my lap and at my wrists. Just the right angle as well. I would definitely highly recommend.

great product excellent customer service

I use this for my Bluetooth keyboard and mouse to control my Mac mini from the comfort of my chair while mirroring to my big screen Television. Super comfortable, even has some storage pockets. I did try it with my 15 inch laptop and mouse and it works for that as well. Definitely would recommend and get another one if needed.

This lapdesk is a bizarre mix of pros and cons, but overall it comes out on top, hence the 4 stars. It keeps the laptop cooler than a pillow or my lap, but that's true of all lapdesks. Here's the list of pros/cons:PROS- Super lightweight- Comfortable: the padding both in the bottom and the wrist rest is both very firm to keep the laptop raised, yet also soft for your legs and wrists. The material is rough, but not noticeably on your skin.- Very functional -- laptop sits at great angle and height despite the overall thinness of the unit.CONSThe MDF board has that obviously fake look to the edges where the veneer on the sides doesn't quite meet the veneer on the top. It's also clear in spots that it wasn't cut cleanly and so it shows slight space between the two pieces of veneer. Funny enough the veneer surface itself is pretty decent, looking like real wood until you see the edges. Similarly the upholstery on the wrist-rest can look a bit cheap, but that may simply be because of the way it conforms to the wrists.This visible lack of quality is really too bad considering the price. I expected a bit higher quality materials. I think I would prefer a slightly heavier unit with real wood.

I have loved this product and use it daily. It’s so sturdy, while not being too heavy.
