This Osmo Action 4 cage is exceptional base on my experience, tough because it is made from metal, durable because it properly fits means it will lasts, and I can easily access my usb-c port, mini SD card and battery without removing the unit from it's cage.. plus it has cold shoe mount for attaching my mic or lights..

La carcasa es buena, y de calidad, pero tiene ciertos puntos que no me gustan como es que no proteje el marco de la lente y que es muy fácil de abrir por lo tanto si la traes en modo vertical es muy fácil que se salga la cámara, ya me paso como 4 veces

Oh come on. How exciting are cages? Most of the time they get in the way of access to the camera to change the battery, sd card, plug in a mic or change the nd filter. The cage that comes from DJI with the action 3 for example, is completely useless unless you are really into shooting vertically. Beyond that it offers nothing but the need to remove the camera constantly to access stuff.But PGYTECH, those clever buggers are 2 for 2 (previously the Action 1) on designing a useful cage that adds protection to the camera, access to everything without removing the camera, and a cold shoe to hold a light or microphone for external input. Additionally it supports the ability to shoot vertically as well as horizontally using the magnetic mount system from DJI. I venture to say if you put it on your Action 3, you won't have to take it off for anything other than maybe cleaning underneath the cage frame. Like if you really mudded it up, or in my case bugs from a motorcycle ride (its a thing). It will easily slide out the end of the cage unlike the DJI cage that expands the frame enough to drop it out the front. Its a much better design.The one thing that makes you pause from tossing it your basket is the price. At $39.95 it is a thinker. The OSMO action 1 cage was $12. But this one is considerably a different thing. It's made of aluminum, that will provide protection from dinging up the edges during some of the things we put action cameras through. The craftsmanship is very nice, no burrs or sharp edges and the hinges and latches work perfectly. Another great product from PGYTECH.
