Excellent and so comfortable real bliss, can't praise this product enough.Been considering buying a memory foam topper for some time and this one is excellent in many ways. As I suffered with back pains intermittently for many years I purchased a memory foam mattress for my bed which has eased my back considerably. Going away for weekends or holidays to hotels and caravans I always found mattresses on the beds too hard and very uncomfortable so consequently slept very badly and had back pain on each trip. Now however since my purchase of this memory foam topper that has all changed. The topper arrived last week just in time to take on a weekend away and it was perfect exactly what I needed. Easy to carry weighing only 3.9Kgs. Previous topper I had to return was deeper at 3 inches but very heavy probably 12 kgs and so totally unsuitable to transport anywhere. Compact with carry handle on bag it was delivered in and mattress cover is a very useful addition. Didn't find and problems with odour when first opening topper and didn't have to leave several hours on top of mattress before using as mentioned by somebody else. Had the best sleep I've ever had whilst away from my own bed for a weekend and my back has been much better. Rolling up the mattress to travel home yesterday was no problem easy to do by myself and just used some string to keep in roll then placed it in a plastic black bag as it was too difficult to get down to size to fit into original packing. Placed topper on my bed when I got home and flattened and settled within 10 minutes no problem. Though this is a 1 inch thick mattress have found it still very comfortable and suitable for me. Highly recommend for anyone with back problems either on their own hard bed or when travelling and staying in hotels caravans etc where beds are often very uncomfortable.

Having looked at other brands and stores I decided to try the Silentnight Memory Foam mattress topper for a spare single bed. I am very pleased with it. It is good quality, is the right thickness and has a nice cover. The corner straps are substantial and keep it in place really well. It has improved the comfort of the bed.

I accidentally ordered the 2.5cm topper by mistake rather than the 5cm I meant to so was sceptical it was going to work but makes such a difference! Bought to soften a new but overhard mattress on spare bed which gave me back pains when had to sleep on! Slept like baby first night used! Definitely give it a try! Yes it does smell when first open (foam always does) but left it to air for couple of days & then was fine. Some reviews mention it moves about but I haven't found that. I did put under bed sheets though so maybe depends how you use. Overall very pleased - economical solution to uncomfortable mattress.

I ordered thinking it was going to be 5cm think as that was what I read in the description. However, when it arrived it was only half that thickness. Re-reading the description says it is "5cm or 1inch thick" so obviously a mistake in there as 1 inch is only 2.54cm! Should of read the description thoroughly I guess. When you get it, you have to unroll it and leave it for 8-10 hours to plump up, it does have a strong chemical smell but it does go away after 24 hours, so I just left it on the bed and left all the windows open through the day. It comes with a mattress protector that fits over it and over my old mattress to keep it in place which was good. I've found that it has really improved the old mattress of ours, it has made that bit more softer and comfier. It is slightly expensive for what is essentially a small layer of foam, especially as it is half the thickness I thought it was going to be, hence the 3 stars. Also only had it a week so no idea how long it will last.

I am so so pleased with this mattress topper. I like a firm mattress but I needed something just to take the edge off mine as I currently have back problems. The mattress topper didn't really have a bad smell as with other reviews and was fairly easy to fit onto my bed. Memory foam does unfortunately tend to trap heat so it's a bit warmer but I usually sleep partially out of the duvet anyway so it's not a bother. It was very comfy from the start but really came into its own after about 2-3 nights using it; it's returned to its proper size and is beautifully soft and spongy. I'm sleeping much better now but it is much harder to get out of bed!

I've now used two versions of this, 2.5cm and 5cm. Both seem generally good quality (for the short while I've had them). Here's my pro and con list: + overall feel, when lying on it: higher-quality memory foam; not too soft, not too firm. For comparison, it's softer than the Origin Contour and Emma flip toppers. It is firmer than the Panda London topper. + no smell after a brief off-gassing period + cover seems good quality; great that it's washable + different heights are brilliant for me; in the past, I found 5cm (ca. 2") too much, i.e. missed the support from the mattress; so I tried the 2.5cm version first; then the 5cm version and found it overall more adequate - once the foam is fully compressed (after a while of lying in the same spot), it doesn't feel great - the straps are very short; luckily, I have a thin mattress (less than 9") ? how long it will last

Voici un surmatelas qui rempli bien sa fonction primaire. Nous l'avons installé sur une banquette lit et grâce à lui il permet désormais d'avoir un couchage beaucoup moins dur ( du fait du petit matelas qui est sur cette banquette). La mémoire de forme est de qualité car disparait même après plusieurs utilisations.

The mattress was excellent but the service was SOOOOOOO slow... In the UK, prime means next day delivery. This took over a week. Very disappointing!

Étonnant de gagner autant en confort avec un sur matelas aussi fin qui s'adapte à toutes les situations; je l'utilise sur un canapé lit pliant qui n'aurait pas pu se refermer avec tout autre sur matelas ....

Decidí comprar un tooper porque por vacaciones dormimos en un sofá-cama con uno encima y aquello era la gloria, como mi colchón es superduro pensé que quizás en vez de comprar otro colchón y volver a equivocarme, seria mejor comprar uno, todos los buenos rondan sobre 150... 100 si es barato, miré este porque vi que decía viscoelástico pero cuando llego el paquete pesaba poco, es un cacho de espuma con algo de látex y una funda como sabana bajera, apenas se nota cuando te tumbas, no está mal, pero si tuviese que comprar otra vez esperaría a ahorrar un poco mas y compraría uno de látex látex aunque no tuviese grosor a penas, pero por este precio supongo que este tooper esta bien.

La calité est bof, le matela se décompose quelque peu... ça va si on ne dort pas toutes les nuits dessus
