Its easy to use, you can't really taste it and I have had good poops. I often find high fibre (due to wheat intolerance) causes everything to loosen up. I don't have that problem with this flaxseed. I can't really work out what it is doing for me but since I have felt relatively from eating it every day, all I can see is that I have not felt unwell eating it. It comes in quite a strong re-sealable packet. Golden Flaxseed is something to try if you suffer from digestive upsets such as IBS and the other things like Colpermin, Buscopan and Senocalm seem to disagree with you! This ground golden flaxseed can be mixed with yoghurts or put on cereals. You can add it to porridge. The idea is that the oils in the golden flaxseed coat your digestive tract and make it less inflamed, thus stopping Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Usually, if you cook about a flat desert spoonful of this ground flaxseed in some Ready Brek each morning, it will take about a week for your condition to improve. Once your condition is starting to improve, you should reduce the amount of golden flaxseed you take each morning, down to, say a teaspoonful. When your condition is nearly normal, you can stop taking golden flaxseed to conserve your supply. Should your condition deteriorate, then start taking it again. The 'use-by' date is two years ahead, so if you use this product carefully it will last a long time. Once your condition is better, you can use a few unground golden flaxseeds in your cereal. The ordinary, unground, seeds from Tesco etc., are considerably cheaper at £1.10 for 250 grammes.
