Seiko Men's Automatic Watch with Analogue Display and Silver Stainless Steel Bracelet

Although I`ve already got a Seiko (Kinetic) watch I decided that I needed a reliable and stylish every day watch for work etc. As luck would have it I stumbled across this watch on Amazon and I am really pleased with it. There were several contenders to choose from but this model got my attention, not least because of the price and a significant saving on the recommended retail price. The watch arrived ahead of schedule, the postage being free incidentally, and I was able to track it`s progress from receipt of order right up to the day of delivery. The watch is everything I expected, it is stylish, lightweight and yet durable looking, and so far so good there have been no problems. I can`t comment on any accuracy issues as I`m not one for having the exact time, this is because I always run my watch fast in order to always be on time, but I will be keeping an eye on that point just in case. Can`t help looking at the face and catching glimpses of the hint of brown coloured (could pass for carbon fibre looking) textured background. Very neat indeed. Lastly, the back of the case is glass, or at least see through, so you can see the movement working, unusual but interesting. All in all I am a very pleased customer.

A good looking watch, shame it doesn’t keep very good time. Had to take it into the jewellers twice to try to fix it but it still loses time.

I have been living with this watch for about a month now and I have nothing but praise for it. It keeps good time, the dial is clear and easy to read, the glow in the dark paint works as intended, etc. I have received many compliments about it from people who are not normally interested in watches. It is comfortable, perfectly weighted and universally fashionable. As a young man (first time buying a watch for myself) I can wholeheartedly say that this is amazing watch which is well worth the money. I will add an edit if any durability issues crop up in the future.

Very pleased - I have a very old seiko and this was bought as a rugged - I don't mind if a damage, scratch, use in water etc watch. Has done all that and still looks good - quite scratch resistant as well !

Nice looking watch with clear and easy to read dial and face with red second hand pointer. Auto winding function so no batteries to change. Has day/date calendar which is easy to adjust. Stainless steel bracelet and catch which wears well. It has a clear back so you can see the working mechanism. Keeps good accurate time and only loses 1 minute about every 3 months or so. It's water resistant but not suitable for swimmers or divers I suspect. For me it does it's job as a daily use timepiece. Az

three main points - bracelet needed to be adjusted by professional paid watch repairer ; hour and minute hand could be a bit thicker with more luminosity , and knob used to adjust time / date is tricky to pull out with short nails !

- Amazon sent out to me the relevant watch from Germany's department ; but the product was an malfunctional piece of SEIKO 5. It was noticeable on the surface of the watch that it was already wearing. I sent it back immediately and ordered instead another SEIKO -Sport type. Actually, the ' SEIKO brand of course it is one of the worldwide leading watch brand.

This watch met all expectations as to appearance and performance, as you would expect from a Seiko time piece. However as the unit is consistently +\- 30 seconds slow each day a a 5 star rating is not appropriate.

What a bargain. I'm going to consider the Seiko 5s more from now on. I initially bought this watch to be a nice going out watch once I changed the bracelet to one of higher quality. But the bracelet isn't terrible (it is quite comfortable) and you can't tell at first glance it isn't solid metal links. This is now my casual watch as well as my every day work watch. Right away, it kept great time and has a beautiful brown face. Because the bracelet does not have solid links, you can remove the links on your own, but it may take some work with an eyeglass screwdriver. At first glance, no one can tell this is an inexpensive watch with a less fancy bracelet, especially at the top view. Overall, I am very satisfied with the design and initial quality of the watch.

These watches are great. Never had any issues with them... for 60 bucks... buy a few. if one breaks, no biggie easy to replace.

Great midrange watch, quality product according to recipient. As I did not want to increase the price greatly I did not choose the very expensive (must be how they make most of their money) quicker delivery option I got a Very poor delivery time... 5 weeks so if you want to actually get the gift for someone's birthday you need to order way in advance,
