This is a reasonable tool to complement your revision for the criminal law exam, however in my experience only maybe 1/8 of the book is actually useful to you. By the time you are approaching revision you ought to have a good idea which topics you propose to answer in the exam. This book frames many of the questions as problem style questions, or essay style questions, however for any given topic there may only be one or two questions that are useful to you.It does give you an idea on how to frame your answer, some tips on the appropriate caselaw to refer to. However, this should only be used to complement any other revision that you are doing with your tutors. This is alright but not enough to practice you answers with. Make sure you are asking your tutors for copies of past exam papers to see the kinds of questions that came up in the past, and use this as reference material to see if it ever recommends any different caselaw to what you are being taught.
