Worked great to store our 4 beach umbrellas, 7 folding chairs, fishing equipment, a carry on luggage and a large duffel bag. Once secured, felt confident it would stay secure. It poured heavily while driving and a bit of water did seep through, don't know from where. Lock provided is flimsy and zippers limit the type on of lock one can use. Overall happy with it as it gives us much needed space in the back of the van

Very well made. I was afraid of it scratching my roof, but no scratches. Held on good, slid back a few inches the stayed put. Only fits two big suitcases

Used this product for a vacation trip from Ohio to South Carolina. Our suv does not have any rack mounting or sunroof on top. We were able to pack 6 carry on type suit cases, 2 jumbo beach umbrellas, 2 beach chairs, 2 fold up chairs, 1 bag of female shoes lol, 1 bag of beach toys, as well as a few smaller things and all beach towels to use as “spacers” to keep everything tight inside. Everything made it safely to and from on our trip. Tightened down accordingly and followed the included instructions of distance to avoid drag. Nothing came loose, apart, or slid on the journey. No damage to the top of the car, as the anti slip padding was used accordingly. Definitely happy with the purchase thus far. Cleaned and stored correctly as well to try and get as much use out of it as we can. Only time, weather, care, and other normal factors can determine its longevity and I imagine it probably will last for quite some time.DISCLAIMER: This product was used on 1 trip, with an suv according to all instructions, and common sense for using such a product for travel. If you can not use this product to its capacity, then I recommend you purchase a smaller sized product. If you own a car and not an suv, then I recommend you purchase a smaller size. Rain was also a factor on the journey and everything inside remained dry to the bone after following the instructions once again.Trial run for packing is also recommended as it gets easier once you put it on the car. Picture included is exactly that, the trial run on the ground. Everything fit exactly the same once on the car.

Did a cross country NYC to the west coast move in the dead middle of winter. When I tell you I encountered every type of weather; rain, snow, sleet, high winds to name a few, during the trip.After getting everything down my belongings were soaking wet. Would recommend using hard shell suitcases or totes. Also had to use ratchet tie down because the hooks did not work for a Chevy Malibu.

Bag material was good quality, however, hardware was not. One of the two zippers broke immediately. One of the buckles broke when tightening it to the roof. I do not recommend this product and wish I could return it.

The size and material of the bag is great but the zipper isn’t heavy duty. It splits easily so you might need two set of hands to help.

Although I bought this and couldn't use the small straps with the hook, we just used rachet straps to hold it inside the car and we drove 4 hours to our camp spot 80 mph highways and we had 0 issues it held 2 full duffle bags an air mattress 2 big Tempur pedic pillows 4 blankets 2 camp chairs and a 50 pack of water bottles with room to spare super worth the money

Worked great for me, good strong material, thick straps and the buckles and zipper held up with no issues. 6 hours to the cottage and 6 hours back all hwy driving although I never went over 110 kph (68 mph). It didn't rain on my drives but it looks like it would be very water resistant. I was able to fit a large cooler, 2 suitcases, and a 20L (5G) water jug, with room to spareMy only note would be that it is quite large (which is a good thing obviously), but if it is only half filled it can be difficult to strap it down tightly and the less-filled portions of the bag may be more effected by wind/rain so make sure you fill it as evenly as possible. Also there were no replacement buckles or frame-latch attachments included, so if I had broken a buckle or strap-latch halfway through the trip I would have been SOL. I would recommend bringing along a couple ratchet straps or some rope just in case someone happens.

Tiene un tamaño ideal,grande y fácil de montar.Mi auto es un Seat León y se adapta perfectamente.Bien sujeto no se ha movido en todo el viaje,a una velocidad de 100/110 por autovía y el consumo de combustible,no he apreciado gasto extra.Muy satisfecho,además el viaje de vuelta lo hicimos con lluvia y el interior no se mojó en absoluto,sin duda una gran compra para llevar extra de equipaje para una familia de 5 miembros.
