Cool Prism
I have been using this for photography and it works well for the price.My wife has also been using this for her childminding and the kids love it.I would recommend getting this product.

Very good
I am always impressed at these glass prisms. They come in their own special little box fit for presenting as a gift. Much better than the plastic ones which come battered and scratched even through the plastic packaging.

Inconsistent Resin Prism
It's ok for the kids, but not the price.I take exception to 2 items in the description; - High-quality 4-inch optical prism divides white light into a colorful spectrum. -> NOT a 'High-Quality' - certainly it does create a colourful spectrum however the 'division' could be clearer... - Excellent for optics and physics studies. -> the resin used has an inconsistent mix/ refractive index, that causes colour fringing, and the the spectral separation to be distorted - the sample product image, is significantly better than the results you can expect from the shipped product.Contrary to some feedback - the product is bade from resin and NOT a 'glass prisms', it is also shipped in a 'blister pack' not a 'special little box'.

No rainbow
It didn't give any diversion of light because it's made of plastic. Surface is easily scratched. The angle of the triangle is also wrong. It won't give you any rainbow at all.

Really quality built prism. The plastic is clear as glass, tough and really scratch resistant too. A great educational toy.

I think the kids get a kick out of this prism. I think that the this is a good teaching tool when trying to explain light to younger kids.
