Was expecting a cheap overheating transformer that I would eventually have to send back after reading the reviews I thought well, this might surprise.Arrived next day plugged in and charged my flat batteries and works absolutely fine. I see some reviews say transformer gets really hot well I charged 2 batteries from stone cold flat and the transformer barely got warm.Maybe they were charging with an incorrect output from the charger but I replaced like for like from the original to this one and have had no problems whatsoever. Bargain price and a brilliant replacement. Gladly giving 5 stars for service and product

This replacement power supply arrived extremely quickly (despite the New Year Bank Holiday). It was securely packed and works very well and comes with an unexpected USB socket for charging phones or ....My only VERY SLIGHT initial concern was that the picture on the outside of the box showed a different sort of connector from what I had expected. Once the box was opened, all worry disappeared. There are so many possible connectors but this was exactly right!!!This power supply was very economical and did everything my wife (whose lap-top it was) could have hoped for.

Purchased for my 2014 model HP laptop when the original gave up. Has been working fine but I keep getting a message on my laptop saying that it will charge slower than normal because of the spec of this charger despite me making sure it was infact the correct model before purchasing.However this could just be the laptop or battery at fault because of their age as it doesn’t seem to affect anything in day to day use and I generally keep my laptop constantly plugged in anyway.For the price I paid it’s good value and I’m more than happy with it overall.

Bought to replace the original charger that came with my laptop as it stopped working, so happy with this purchase, works perfectly with my hp pavilion definitely recommend this as a replacement/spare charger.

Ordered this as a replacement charger later on in October, and it’s already not working. Very poor value for money - I’d recommend ordering somewhere else.

I bought this as a spare power supply to keep packed in my rucksack, so apart from examining it carefully on arrival and using it for a few hours I cannot comment on its long-term qualities. However, it appears satisfactorily well made, and the provision of a 5v USB phone charge output socket in the DC supply lead to the laptop is a really good and useful idea for three reasons:1) it saves tying up one of your laptop USB sockets to charge your phone,2) because it is not a data lead it charges the phone at the faster no-data connection rate,3) your computer doesn't bother you with alerts about the phone's connection.During the few hours I used it, the temperature of the unit did not get any higher than the OEM power supply, and it charged the battery at about the same rate.So to sum up, this looks like an outstandingly good bargain, and on the basis of my limited use, I would highly recommend it.

...it doesn't have a USB charging point as advertised on the product description. Otherwise it works and charges a HP Pavilion laptop without any issues.
