Montblanc"Meisterstück Line F" Platinum Fountain Pen - Black

This was a gift for my partner for his 50st Birthday, he loves it. The customer service and delievery all perfect.

Good price for amazing brand

Didn't pay full price (used a bucket load of air miles) soa bit cheeky writing a review on Amazon. Despite not paying full whack, feel mugged really. It's a very light plastic pen....that you can write with. That's it. Plastic...pen. Nothing more, nothing less. Nothing premium about it at all.

Very easy to use. Highly recommend - get the ink cartridges though, less messy!

The Rolls Royce of pens

Classic fountain pen. Way too light though. Nib is obviously extraordinarily good, as may be expected from a Montblanc.

This was purchased as a gift for my son and there was a substantial eduction of £70 (approx) compared to MontBlanc outlets. However, this is a luxury item and needs to be guaranteed as such. The booklet that came with it was not stamped with the purchase details that are required to ensure your guarantee is covered. Also MontBlanc offer a free of charge nib change within six weeks of purchase and only as a gesture of goodwill accepted the pen for such along with the Amazon invoice. Apparently there is some ongoing dispute between Amazon and MontBlanc as the latter do not want their product undercut and sold this way. I'm very satisfied with the pen and it was the genuine article but beware regarding guarantees and afterservice as MontBlanc could very well refuse to cover you.

Bought one of these pens for my wife a few years ago but the lid became stuck. Sent the pen back to MB for them to remove the lid and they attempted to charge £60 to remove it. At this price for a product, I would expect customer service to go the extra mile but it was absolutely dreadful. Extremely disappointed.
