For extra sturdiness I have drilled two holes into worktop and when vice is clamped I just drop two bolts into holes on vice and through worktop. I don't put nuts onto them. This way its very easy to remove vice from worktop. I have 2 of them and they live on a shelf and only get used as necessary. **Q: Does the vice come with a clamp to attach it to the bench or do you have to purchase that separately?** A: Mine has both clamp and screws to attach it to the bench. It's a bit tricky if you want to fit it so that the jaws are flush with the bench, as I did, but it can be done. **Q: What is the distance between jaws when fully open** A: 90 mm when fully open i have 2 x 15mm jaws on mine to protect wood **Q: does vice come with fitting instructions** A: I got mine a few years ago so can't remember. Just been using it and I can tell you it's a great vice. There is a wind up clamp on the bottom which I use on mine so I can move it along the bench. I find this very secure for my needs. It dose have pre drilled holes if you want to bolt in place. All said this is a good vice. ## Frequently Bought Together - Record Irwin V150B Medium Duty Woodcraft Vice with Table Clamp 6”/150mm - TRISENSE 4" Vise Jaws, Universal Soft Vice Jaws Pads Covers with Strong Magnetic, Multi-Purpose Protector for Any Metal Vice, 1 Pair, Golden - GYROS 12 PCS #72 Micro Drill Bit Set – Small Drill Bits for Jewelry, Plastic, Resin, & Soft Metal – Carbon Steel Wire Gauge Mini Twist Drill Bit Set for Pin Vise Hand Drill & Rotary Tool --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hu/products/48965549-record-irwin-v150b-medium-duty-woodcraft-vice-with-table-clamp](https://www.desertcart.hu/products/48965549-record-irwin-v150b-medium-duty-woodcraft-vice-with-table-clamp) --- *Product available on Desertcart Hungary* *Store origin: HU* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
