The bag seems sturdy and well made. The color (F-green) is true to the photos and the measurements are fairly accurate. The bag weighs about 2 pounds and ater testing out the capacity, I found that I was able to fit 2 pairs of jeans, 3 sweaters and 1 pair of sneakers (in the shoe compartment). The zippers all line up and move smoothly. The biggest criticism I have for this bag so far is how it was packed (seems by the manufacturer). The bag was folded in half such that the back panel was bent inward. (It was folded length wise such that the outward side of the bag was visible and the back panel/straps were concealed.) I did read one or two reviews that mentioned this issue before I purchased the bag, but I thought maybe it was an Amazon packing issue. It doesn’t appear to be. Because the manufacturer’s plastic bag was sealed and taped with the bag folded in half, I do think it is the manuafcturer’s error to have packaged it that way. It’s not a dealbreaker per se, but it is rather dumb because it has left the back panel dented. I tried to remedy this by folding the bag in the opposite way to undo the denting. It helped a bit but I could still see the bag wanting to fold when it was empty and I held it by the top handle. Right now, I have filled the back laptop compartment (which is directly sitting against the dented panel) with two large, hardcover art books and have laid the bag flat on the ground for 24 hours to try to undo the dent. Seems to have helped a bit so I’ll keep it flat for another 24-48 hours. I have yet to use it for a real travel/trip need so I can’t say yet how it holds up in action. For the price, I’d say it’s a good deal. But again, this is all based on my initial assessment of the bag materials/construction.

This bag is perfect to use as personal item. Used in the following airlines without a problem: Spirit, Allegiant, United, American Airlines and Southwest. Tested one trip to use Only this bag for a 4 day trip and worked well. You must be smart with the outfits and shoes to pack.If using the shoe compartment, do know that it takes room off from main packing area.

Very happy with this backpack. Appreciate the wet pocket, pocket on backside for valuables, and shoe storage. Loaded this to the gills for a round trip plane ride from Maine to Florida, weighed 24 pounds. Stitching held up, plenty of pockets and organizing spaces, Nice extra padding for 17" laptop. Only thing I would recommend is for VECAVE to add a key leash.

Doesn't fit as much as some reviews stated. Fit under seat and in overhead. Comfortable as backpack. Saw lots of these at the airport so get a good luggage tag
