Showdown in Space! (DC Super Hero Girls) (Step into Reading)

My older struggling readers really enjoy this book. Well the girls anyway. The boys will read about Wonder Woman and such but are not into the Super Hero High books. It’s a nice addition to my classroom library that appeals more to girls without being cutesy. It’s been read multiple times since it’s purchase. Great book at a great value

My readers loved it!

The story is so boring... and so many names of places and events that are not very important to clutter the text. On the positive: the super hero girls cards are a big hit with my 4 and 6 year olds. Hence 3 stars.

These books are so inspiring: girl power in a format my daughter(age 6) can read....love it!

Super awesome book!

Received this boook and there’s finger print stains and pieces ripped out! This was a book that my daughter really wanted for Christmas. I’m really disappointed that I was given a used ripped item.

The story is kind of bad (a dome built to withstand asteroids is destroyed by asteroids...) but my daughter did enjoy it and the hero cards were a nice addition.

My five year old loved it

While I like that this book taught concepts like teamwork, it was confusing at a few points. As an example, some pages included dialogue between characters not shown on the page. Some of the characters also have names that are spelled very similar to each other ('Mongal' and 'Mongul'). Some pages could have also used more context. May have tried to cram too much into a small book.

My 4 year old daughter enjoyed it. Girl power!

Its a good size and the letters are enough to challenge my daughter who is 5 at her reading but easy enough for her to be able to read.

Wonderwoman kicked ass, ably supported by her muckers. Justice reigns supreme. All is right in my 4 year old's world.

An enjoyable story.
