Short Story Press Presents Lights, Camera, Horror!

Loved reading this, but too short! Has more potential.It had some good creepy scenes here and there, but they were too short to my liking.Because of the mystery plot, I really wish this would've been longer or a novella. I wanted to read more about the characters and experience more goose-bumps.Story was very well-written, and the type of horror genre is quite new to me. It has a few "classic" horror scenes (SPOILER) such as a ghost lady, but it was delivered in such a way that was.... weird, yet good. Perhaps due to cultural difference between the author and I. (I read somewhere that she is part Filipina perhaps it is culture difference like humor, but it turned out good)My main complaint would be the length and the lack of chapter chopping. I feel that if the story were chopped into short chapters, some sentences and scenes would be more powerful, more creepy and more of a "cliff-hanger page-turner" feel. Being a short story with quick and continuous succession, the story lacked a the thrilling feel that it potentially has.Wish it were longer and had more opportunities for plot twists and the mystery.Overall, a really good and enjoyable read.

This book is awesome! To be completely honest, the only problem I had with it was its length. The plot had so much more potential. It's a real shame that the author had to make it into a short story, I think it would have been much better as a novel or something similar.Although the horror/supernatural aspect was sort of cliche, she presented it in such a way that it remained fresh and spooky.All in all, this was a great read. Looking forward to some of the author's future work!
