I don't know why I waited so long before buying this
When the bulb blew in my oven i thought i would go to the electrical shop and buy a new one, but then i never actually got anywhere near the shop! So a very quick seach on Amazon and i found this and had it fitted the next day. I cannot comment on logevity as it is new, i would hope it will last about 5 years or more like the last one, but if not i have a spare as this was a two pack!Very good quality, easy to fit and i can now see if the oven is on and the food cooking - there had been an incident when i had left the over on as i couldnt see if it was on without the light!

DO not last long anymore 4 months and 1 burned out
These do not last at all the way they used to . burned out in 4 months and not just burned our the filament blew mid baking with a very bright flash . unusual way for a filament bulb to go . For this lifespan it not worth it . going back to the 2 pound ones for a pair .

This was much brighter than the previous oven bulbs I have used. Yes it cost a bit more, but I feel it was worth it.

Prompt delivery, good price. More suitable at 25W as an Oven Light than a 15W lamp. Rated at 300C, oven suitable and life expectancy we need to wait and see.
