Singular Sound BeatBuddy Mini: Personal Drummer

Idea seems awesome, tried it quickly but looks like some part inside is loose - when i shake it i can hear something rattling inside, occasionally short circuiting the electronics inside. But apart from that seems pretty awesome. Will return this one and order a new one.Update: sent back the faulty one and ordered a new one. This one works :) it is amazing!! My ten year old son is absolutely loving it and it adds another dimension to playing. It sounds really really good and he absolutely love it. This device is perfect for jamming at home, for enjoying music, for practice. The drum beats sound fantastic, the fills are great. Highly recommended!!

Would love this better if presets would stay where I set them instead of reverting back to original

Really good, makes me pick up my mandolin to play all my repertoire all over again. Makes me work on my timing and helps improve my playing.

A great little pedal, some great patterns

The function select knob only worked intermittently very poor design and fiddly to use should be a separate knob for each function , this item was sent back for refund. The larger beat buddy pedal looks a better design and I guess this is reflected in the higher price.

Well its sort of ok. Well made and clear instructions. Comes with 9v power adapter which is good and step down jack to allow you to plug into a stereo or something. Since my band broke up and I’ve been on my own thought I’d try a drum pedal. Has a pretty good drum sound but really not suited to live performance. You have to bend down each time to change genre, “tune” and speed. Also out of about 60 songs I’d regularly do in a set there was only a handful where I could find a proper beat and a few more where I had to change how I played to match the nearest beat.You really need to put it through a pa or something as if you use it through your guitar amp it will distort if you use lots if gain or overdrive (obvious really!).This is fine if you are messing about in a bedroom or doing home recording but very time consuming to keep switching between genres and “tunes”find a rhythm that will suit each song - and then like me, you may not get one.There is a list of songs and appropriate settings available on line from their website, but some of the suggested rhythms and tempos are er......odd!Probably backing tracks are better for a live performance. Or a live drummer and put up with the drooling!!

As a one man band, this drummer is excellent.. Many beats and genre's to choose from. Sorry I waited to long to purchase this one.. Very nice product., glad I chose this one... The drum beats sound real... Good product and priced right.

I’ve been playing/practicing guitar for about 3 years and got the Beat Buddy Mini a few months ago, so my perspective is that of a student.This is such a great tool for practicing. It’s very easy to set up and use and it has such a huge benefit in terms of keeping you honest with your timing and tempo. And it’s a ton more fun than using a regular metronome. If you do just want a metronome this does that too and is a fantastic metronome. But it’s so much more fun to use & listen than a metronome that I end up wanting to use it a lot more. I’ll leave it on the majority of the time I’m practicing.The user interface on this is great. It’s really simple to use and really simple to navigate through the large list of tracks that are in it.The BBM is very flexible in terms of setup, it can be used with a stereo system or other speaker instead of as part of your guitar input chain. That’s my favorite way to use it. You can also plug it into the AUX input on an amp if you have that. This is preferable for me as I the drum sounds won’t be affected by an overdriven amp or adjustments to the tone stack on the amp.In terms of sound it depends on your goals and perspective. I think it sounds pretty good, but you can tell you’d probably not be happy trying to record a track and using this. It’s not marketed for that anyway. What I find is if you alter the tempo of a song by too much you’re going to hear an artifact every few bars. If you keep the tempo around the suggested default for a track it sounds better.If I could only have one guitar pedal/effect I might choose this considering I’m mostly playing alone.

Incompleto, perchè non si possono togliere le battute di chiusura a differenza di quelle iniziali che si possono togliere. Come sempre mancano le istruzioni in italiano e non esistono nemmeno online

大きさも、音も、プリセットもこのお値段ですから納得です。出力がモノラルなのでラジカセなどで再生すると片方のチャンネルしか使えないので音量的にも不便を感じます。ボタンが少ない為、ワンタッチで機能を選択という訳にはいきませんね。使い勝手を良くすれば値段に響くのでしょうね。　一緒にフットスイッチを買ったのですが、こちらはどうにもうまく動いてくれません。説明書通りに何度も試したのですが、ストップ機能以外は動いてくれません。輸入品なので問い合わせもめんどくさそうなのであきらめてます。国産メーカーでこのようなものを出してくれないかなー。
