ShearerCandles Egyptian Cotton Large Scented Silver Tin Candle - White

Used it in the lounge, lovely strong smell.

Shearers candles are definitely my favourites, and I always have easily 6 or 7 in my stash, ready to go. I often burn the Egyptian cotton Shearer Candles either in my hall, or in my bathroom with the door open into the hall. Both positions work well and can easily scent the top level of my house without being overpowering (3 bed terraced). Of course, if you want a more powerful smell, a tea-light in each room in the same scent works wonders. (yes they do tea lights too!!) These candles make the whole house smell as though you have been doing laundry all day (Even if you've actually been just sitting in your jammies until 5 minutes before someone arrives) so are definitely an essential if you are trying to portray the whole successful adulting thing :PAn added bonus is that with the large tins, the lids can be placed on the surface, then the candle on top- this gives a bit more protection to the surface and also keeps the lid hidden from partners who like to tidy away useful things that we need to keep!I usually get a whole week out of one of the large shearer tins, and that is burning every night, with a longer burn at the weekends. The scent is amazing, right down to the end._______________________________Some tips for safe candle use:1- Place on a heat proof surface, away from any loose fabrics2- Keep the wick trimmed to approx 1cm to prevent a smoking flame3- Keep out of the way of draughts; they make the candle burn unevenly (which means you don't get as many hours out of it)4- Use a candle snuffer, then replace the lid after use to prevent the smoky smell taking over.

Nice smelling candle. Not cheap but I don't mind paying if its good quality. This is the second fragrance I've bought of this brand. Wick on the last one burnt down but there was a lot of wax left around the sides - disappointing. Hope this one fairs a bit better.

This is by no means Egyptian cotton smell isn't bad but definitely not Egyptian cotton at all
