Fits tightly
Fits tightly and nicely with no play.I changed in 3 years many 6.5mm adapters and even original cables.I can tell ..as soon as I plugged this one in I started singing "all I want this Christmas is you" because I never had a cable so solid, and I mean it.Im a music producer and the sound quality is 100% acurate. The built quality is great. I'm happy with it's overall performance. Recommended!

Functional cable for ATH M40x
Shorter cable than what comes with the ATH M40x, which is desirable when you plan to use the headphones portably. The locking mechanism works fine with my headphones and fits well. The cable is very stiff due to the plastic used on the braid, so doesn't tangle very easily. But I do wonder if this stiffness will make accidental damage easier in future. Time will tell.I don't subscribe to the idea of cables giving much difference in sound aside from very long ones changing capacitance / resistance. A conductor is a conductor. It sounds fine.

Very Good Cable
I bought this cable for my ATH-M50Xs after the cable that came with the headphones suffered from twisting issues; this cable is much nicer and of higher quality than the standard one as it is both braided and reinforced, meaning that the cable is less likely to tangle or twist and should offer a longer overall life-span.The extra 6.35mm jack that is provided is very useful for those who wish to make use of it, I did not, and the M50X specific locking mechanism on the 2.5mm end means that no further modification is needed to use them with the M50s.The only recommendation I would make is that people should consider paying slightly more for the longer versions of this cable as length can become an issue when using even a close desktop, however this is not an issue with the product and is just a precaution the user should take.

Fits Audio technics headphones
Length of cable supplied to said headphones was too long to playback of mp3 player music which was my main purpose to buy said headphones.Jack plug connection to headphones was different to the rest of my other headphones. The sound quality from cable to headphones was OK bur that rating had more to do with the headphones itself.Putting the Audio Technic headphones and the length of cable already supplied,I now use only to connect to television, again sound quality was OKFrom above experience,I would not recommend buying Audio Technics Headphones.

Does not fit DH1200
This item did not fit my DH1200( yes they are DH1200 it's stamped on them ) . One end too small and will not stay in. Conversion plug for other end ok.

Be sure you get the right length for your desk!
Good cable. Durable. If you have a large mixing desk (pm5d,vi600,h3000) with the phones out on one side the shortest one will not be long enough! Great for in ear packs. Only downside is if the material of the cable touches certain things it sends a vibration up the cable and into your left ear... only really notice when not passing audio.

Audiophiles BEWARE!!
Looks great… feels great… sounds terrible!I genuinely really like the feel and finish, the plugs are really nice, but there is significant capacitance in the conductive cores, resulting in loss of detail and muddy tone to the sound it transmits. There is also CRAZY amounts of mechanical noise coming up through the nylon outer braiding into both my set of pretty expensive headphones.Looks like having durability issues too, judging from other reviews. Although I’ve only just got mine so can’t comment on that yet. Will probably return. Shame :(

Decent replacement
I bought this cable back in 2016 and its now starting to fail on the 3.5mm jack due to wear and tear but overall the cable has lasted 3 years in a fairly harsh environment (used at work) getting caught on things and such, so for the cost it did great and it lasted longer than the genuine cable!
