I was lifting just the LCD part of a screen, and I mean just the sheet of liquid crystal without the rest of the screen components (filters, diffusers etc ..). It's on a 49" 4K expensive TV, so dropping it was not an option. I popped these one at each end (about 8" from the left and right sides) and then squeezed the gripper handles about 1/4 of the way. Already they had a firm grip on the screen. I lifted it to another work area and then placed it down. Took me longer figuring out how to get the grippers off the screen! Basically, you twist then anti-clockwise with a bit of force, and they just release! The TV is now fixed and working (needed new backlights as the old ones had turned blue!). It would have cost hundreds to get it fixed, but for the price of these suckers and the lights (30 quid) I now have a fully working TV! Great stuff, buy some!
