I was thrilled to find a bulk package. This stuff is amazing! I like to add coconut coffee creamer.

I tried the sample pack and this was my favorite out of the 5 I received. It’s naturally sweet (not like milk chocolate, more like an 80% dark, and smooth. I recently gave up coffee and have been looking for an alternative that would still give me a little pick me up. This is caffeine free but I still get a small boost in the morning, which is necessary with 5 kids… it has its own unique flavor so don’t go into it expecting hot cocoa or coffee. Very pleased I found this. More $$ than I was looking to spend but I love how it makes me feel. I use a coffee pot that has a bold brew setting.

Having a deep love for bitter cacao/dark chocolate and espresso coffee, I was very curious about the concept. After learning about the relatively longer time required for brewing cacao (vs coffee), I decided to stick with brewing the product via French Press with its maximum suggested brewing time. Special thanks to the very responsive and informative Crio Bru staff who assisted me before my purchase.It is quite good and touches on my taste for rich unadulterated cacao. In all honesty though I was expecting a bit more intensity and a more "full-bodied" taste. Perhaps I would find more of what I'm looking for in a variety with a "Dark roast"? Given its value I'll have to finish this variety first; possibly trying more than the suggested amount per 8oz of water. I usually brew a 24-oz batch of this in the morning.It nicely satisfies the craving for a morning brew with its own distinct effects. However for me it "complements" my coffee habit more than it would "replace" it. Again, I'll probably have to try a Dark Roast Crio Bru to be certain.Until then, I'm glad to alternate between this and coffee throughout the week.My Crio bru adventure continues....

Great alternative to coffee. Healthy Great flavor.

Awesome alternative to coffee and tastes great. The only thing that puts me off is how expensive it is and I use it every day. the bag lasted me about a month or two but when I went to buy it again I was once again shocked by the price. At the time of this review it is $55.95 with no discounts.Will be looking for other alternatives due to the price but overall a great product.

It's a little expensive, but I love making it in a French press with my low acid coffee and cinnamon. Tastes so good! I found this version to not be as choclaty as the others, but still tastes great.

Where has this been my whole life!? I am officially on the brewed cacao bandwagon! This product (Just as it promises) brews exactly like coffee in a French press. It is easy to make and delivers on flavor, as long as you aren’t expecting that nasty, sugar-laden packet coco from your childhood.CrioBru cacao tastes natural and healthy but still rich and satisfying. I appreciate the boost of energy that is different from caffeine... as it only contains about as much caffeine as decaf coffee. The energy boost is measurable, while more sustained and subtle than coffee. Also, the mood enhancing properties make me less inclined towards hating people for being stupid.I’ve even gotten my husband on this product. I make him a large CrioBru every day before work and he drinks it around 4pm for a final boost of energy that WON’T keep him up all night, as he is a sensitive sleeper.

We have been using CrioBru brewing cacao for a while now, and we absolutely love it. We mostly use it for drinking in the morning, but do use it for other recipes every now and again. I have seen other drinking cacao on the market, but they are always very expensive. I feel like this one is a good price for the amount you get.

I love this one more than the Ghana French roast. This one is milder and tastier. Is that hint of banana and citrus I taste? I think it is. Yum! I recommend this one!

Obsessed with crio bru! The Venezuela is my favourite so far, but have tried just about all of them now and they are all excellent.
