Received a few days ago and not had time to use. Does come with the tools need to complete; including the stuffing and instruction. I am look forward to remembering how to crochet.

I have never crocheted before and thought that this kit looked so cute, so I bought it. The instruction sheet it came with was basically no help and I ended up searching on youtube for every step. The video they provide is just someone crocheting, there's no instruction on it and they go so fast it's impossible to copy. The woobles on YouTube was the best video, she explained and did it slow for you to follow. Once you know how to do it, it's so easy. The yarn uncurls and so you'll have to try to get all of the strings from your current crochet and leave the other strings behind. Overall was really cute to make and you can make a couple out of each ball of yarn you receive. Just have to supply your own eyes for the extras

Am-11 Dwen Dwen The Chicken:After learning from The W**bles, I decided to try out a bunch of other Amigurumi kits.Second up is a Chicken kit. It comes with a pattern booklet, & YouTube videos you can follow along with. This kit was $19.99 USD.This kit comes with a key ring, so this gal is meant to be small. This kit comes with a decent 2mm crochet hook. This is very tiny. I haven’t used one this small yet. I tried it for the first 2 rounds, but it is so tiny that the yarn doesn’t fit in the hook. I ended up using my 3.5mm ergonomic crochet hook instead. So, my final result will end up a bit bigger than the pattern intended.I like the neatness & tightness of the under / over single crochet stitch method better than the over / over method previously learned. I do not like the slip stitch + chain 1 join method used at the end of each round. It leaves a visible seam. I used an “invisible seam” method instead.The yarn is nice to work with.The kit comes with eye pins. You are supposed to melt the provided glue stick with a lighter, dab glue on the eyes & shove them in place into the yarn. I used safety eyes instead, you just have to remember to put them in as you go. You are also supposed to glue the white eyeballs & beak to the body, which is ridiculous. Leave a long tail & sew them on.I struggled with the tiny pieces. I can’t imagine making those with a 2mm hook. Anything less than 6 starter stitches is too small for me. The yarn also split a lot working these tiny pieces, especially when slip stitching. The beak pattern is not great, shape wise & direction wise. The say that the top is the short piece, but the video shows it being at the bottom. I put 3 spikes in the crown, instead of the 2 required.If you can successfully complete a W**bles Amigurumi character, you should be able to make this.There appears to be enough yarn left over to make another Chicken Amigurumi.

I really like this little set, but it's a bit more advanced than for "beginners".

I have be crochetting for over 30 years but I have never used a pattern or read a pattern. I thought that this would be a nice way to start using patterns and the instructions are Very Easy to read.The cost of the product is a bit high, the overall value for money was average to too high. The quality of the yarn and accessories is good. I may or may not purchae another kit for practice but I would not spend this kind of money for a children to learn to crochet.

It’s a nice starter kit but the issue is the yarn…it’s not the best quality and I keep repeating the slip knot because the yarn keeps shedding….

I have never crocheted in my life! I am not going to say that it’ll come easily for most people, but this kit and the website they provide to help you is super great!Don’t get discouraged and take your time and you’ll come out with an adorable dinosaur!

Given as a birthday present! Recipient loves it and eager to get going.

Lovely set with all the correct parts present. However, the video is not great and you will need to search for another more basic video to get to grips with it if, like me, you are a complete beginner.

The yarn starts to falls apart, very low quality, very difficulty to learn with this quality.And the documentation / videos are not for newbies as they claimed.

I got this kit to see if I could start crocheting as I like to learn new skills but I wasn’t happy with what I received. This kit is not beginner friendly at all, the directions are confusing and the videos that are provided don’t have any directions. The videos have a woman crocheting but she doesn’t speak the entire time or explain what she is doing there is just some music in the background. This kit would be good for someone who already knows how to crochet as it has all the pieces you need. Overall, I was very disappointed and I would not recommend this set. I ended up returning it for a refund as it wasn’t cheap compared to other sets.

Box came damaged and is very small. Too small to justify the price. Not worth it at all. Wouldn’t buy again.
