I bought this for my 4 y/o's birthday ... she's able to identify the letters of the alphabet, but this is a fun way to see that those letters actually form words, with visual aids of the item being spelled out. A simple start that gives them a chance for physical engagement.

Cute idea, but the letters should all be lower case or upper case to help the child in independent learning and correction. I should’ve liked more closely at the pictures

This is a wonderful toy to teach my daycare kids how to spell. I would have given this five stars except for the fact that the cards keep falling down in the crack and they cannot see the letters.
