Coolaroo Elevated Pet Bed Medium Nutmeg

I ordered this bed despite a few other reviews saying how difficult it was to put together and I'm so glad I did. It wasn't difficult to do, the only thing is once you do get the first bars in you do need someone to hold that section whilst you do the other side. But other wise it's simple. I have 3 large dogs a greyhound a german shepherd and a large lurcher. I was concerned that it might be too small when I first saw it but it is plenty big enough when they are on it but I would recommend that you put on some kind of blanket for the dogs too lay on as I found the material a little rough. The material is sturdy and looks quite strong and it didn't sag too much when the dogs got and I have large dogs. I did forsee it being difficult to actually get my german shepherd on it in the first place and got some treats ready to entice him on. I need not have worried he jumped straight on and loves it. I have had several beds and quilts that have been on the floor and was forever picking them up and I wish I'd got one of these before. The problem I've got now is they are actually fighting to use it and my old greyhound usually wins we can't get him off it. I would recommend this product this product to anyone who wants a bed that gets their dogs off the floor but as I've got three dogs it would prove a little difficult to get three as they do take up a little room. But for anyone thinking about it get one. I would also use this supplier again as delivery was prompt and the product is very good value for money.

These beds are brilliant! Just about to buy a fourth one for the newest family member, now she's past the wrecking everything stage. No more problems with damp patches (and ruining carpets) under bedding from sweaty dogs. Bit difficult to assemble if only one of you doing it, easier with another pair of helping hands. Large size bed is perfect for 40k borzoi, although does sag a bit in the middle! Replacement covers are easy enough to find. Easy to keep clean, just hose down. Easy to hoover under without moving everything out of the way. Dogs like them and are happy for bed time to arrive each day!

Purchased mainly to use for training a puppy to settle, but is perfect for using outdoors in warmer weather. The 'Medium' size has approx. 90cm x 64cm area for the dog to lie down on, and is 20cm off the the ground. Including the legs of the frame, the overall length is closer to 110cm.Great for one larger dog or two smaller dogs that don't mind sharing - the weight limit is stated 30kg although it seems very sturdy so far and is strong enough to support a small vizsla and pup together - for now! The fabric is hardwearing and breathable but scratchy, so would advise blanket or vet bedding for comfort.Unfortunately, it was extremely difficult/nearly impossible to assemble. Not sure if ours was slightly misaligned, but it took a lot of brute force as there has to be significant tension on the fabric. After multiple frustrating failed attempts, it embarrassingly took an HOUR to finally put together. However, the main thing is that the dogs love it. Despite the fact it was so challenging to put together, would still repurchase another but you absolutely need two people to do this unless you have super strength.

Our dog likes to keep cool and we needed a bed that was easy to clean as well. It was a little difficult to put together and we had 2 of us that required some force to get it together (because the bed is stretched along the bars) but now it's together it's provided a good resting spot for our dog. We have a 22kg GSDxHusky and we got a large and actually we could have gone smaller but she has plenty of space for her and her toys now. It's well built and good quality.

So pleased with this, I wish I had bought one years ago. We have an elderly border collie with a long coat, he dries really well on this bed after walks, no wet bed, he used to get up off his bed on the floor with a dead leg and be lame, now that doesn't happen. He also used to only lie on one side, now he lies on both, and doesn't want to get out of his bed so is obviously very comfortable. We are looking for another dog at the moment and when we find one I will buy another of these. Lovely quality, really robust and easy to assemble.

Bought this as a lightning deal, so felt like it was a bargain. My dad did struggle slightly to put it together by himself but he got there in the end. Seems very sturdy and it keeps our golden retriever off the footstool, happy days.

This is the first raised bed that we have bought. Our dog has arthritis and gets really stiff, his old bed was always very smelly and held moisture when he got wet. He likes the raised bed, and is much comfier.I really like that the air can circulate, and so far there is no smell at all. The mesh is good for keeping it cool, but we have bought a vet pad to put on top to keep him warm and cosy.The mesh has quite a lot of give and is not that comfy on it's own but with a towel / fleece or particularly the vet matting it is really comfy. I am hoping that the mesh does not loose shape over time and become saggy. It is a little wider than some others that I have seen.There is a bit of movement in the frame, but eve with the dog and my two girls on the bed it seems quite secure, so hopefully it will last well. The weight limit for the medium bed is 50kg and our lab is 32kg. He is a medium sized lab and there is plenty of room for him to stretch out.Overall: Happy with the purchase, especially for the price I paid. Definitely more comfy and hygenic than his old big cushion.

Have had our bed now for coming up to 3 years would we have both a English bulldog and a Alaskan malamute who both love it however we do a bigger one for our malamute does anyone know if there is a xl size. Can’t fault the beds at all they have been amazing our boy has just got to big to lay down on it
