Le Mans Winning Colours: A Visual History Book.
Lovely nice HardBack Book, which was bought to compliment another Le Men gift, and did so perfectly. Recommend. A (๐๐๐).

Amazing illustrations - great book
This was a "must buy" for me after I enjoyed the original Grand Prix Winning Colours book so much and it is safe to say it isn't a disappointment in anyway. As expected the illustrations are fantastic and help to show the changes in the vehicles over the different eras. Highly recommend for anyone who likes motorsport!

Beautiful, but flawed.
Much like the preceeding Grand Prix's Winning Colours this book is full of great illustrations and cleverly presented information, but unlike the first tome, which had only the occassional error, the number in this effort just make it feel as if it was rushed into production on the back of the success of the other. As a british fan, I was horrified at the rear-end treatment of the Jaguar XJR-9LM and its white wheel rims, the missng race number on the McLaren F1-GTR and the winning Bentley from 2003 being shown as number 8 when it was number 7 that took the flag first - and these are just the glaring errors. With so much reference material available on these cars it just feels as though not enough research was done and certainly not enough proof reading.I don't want to sound overly harsh, as the majority of the illustrations are excellent, particularly the most modern cars, but for a book that stands or falls on the quality and accuracy of its pictures it can only get four stars and a 'must do better'!

Le Mans 2023 was centenary of the event, why is it missing? ๐ณ
I was about to buy this book and realised it was released 2 months before Le Mans 2023 and missed the 100th year since the running of Le Mans! So it also misses the return of Ferrari factory racing to Le Mans after 50 years, and Ferraris overall win and epic fairy tale achievement in the new hyper car category!!! Why on earth didnโt they compile, edit and release the book after Le Mans 2023? It doesnโt make sense, a truly golden opportunity missed.
