Is what size of grommet will I need to waterproof this?** A: I was dismayed to find that no grommets (O rings) were supplied with this socket as required by law to protect the electrics. I was unable to purchase grommets on Easter Sunday so had to use builder's silicone to waterproof the socket. If you have a PHEV and don't want to go the full hog of a wall box then this socket is a good option wired up to a fused spur with some good quality 2.5mm. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does the job but a bit bulky for me *by R***N on 6 August 2020* This took me by surprise when it arrived as it was nearly twice the size of the socket I was replacing. That said, it still fitted OK although I was less happy about the drip hole required in case water found its way into the rear of the case. Surely this should be IP67 or better? Anyway, it's been fitted now for a few weeks, I've used it a few times and it does the job. The price was OK. If I had to buy again I'd consider looking at the size of the comparable units and getting a switched unit as I was uncomfortable unplugging the Karcher without first being able to switch the mains off.
