9" x 6" White Plastic Adjustable Air Vent Grille with Flyscreen Cover

My neighbour fitted one of those wood burners (we share a chimney) and my house was stinking of smoke every day it was lit. The previous vents were always open, so I fitted these. They're cheap as chips, quick and easy to fit (maybe a little bit fiddly) and does the job.

Simple, smart and easy to fit. Looks neat and cuts out the winter drafts.

It was slightly fiddly to fit as you have to attach the back plate to the wall before sliding in the front cover but other than that it wasn't too bad to do. Being able to open or close the vent is really useful.

Replacement for yellowed unit. Easy to fit & a good price too. Moulded parts could be a little more sturdy. Pleased with purchase.

I had a hole in the kitchen wall when I moved in from where previous dweller had pulled out the ducting for an outside venting extractor hood.I didn't want to put any ducting back but did want the hole blocked/ covered for draught and aesthetics.This was a simple cost effective way of doing so.I'm pleased with how it looks and it's solved the problem.

Now winter is here the vent does not provide a good seal when closed in a particularly drafty location. Shame otherwise ok.
