Have bought as a Christmas present for my 5 year old granddaughter and I am sure she will love it as much as her dad did at her age.

positives - Lots you can build Tub is great for storage Can keep an older child occupied for a long time Negatives - Tricky for little hands (my daughter is 6 and struggles with these) Although there are 50 different models to build you can only build one at a time - so lots of time consuming building just to break it up again to make something else straight away One piece snapped as I was taking it apart Hardly any pieces in the tub which looks disappointing for the child when opened Saying this, I would recommend knex as they are really good fun and the look of excitement on the child’s face when they complete a model is second to none. Definitely more suited to a child 8+ I would say. Should be cheaper for what you get though

I gave this to my granddaughter for her 7th birthday & she absolutely loves it. Within minutes she was following the instructions and making her first model. Now she can use her imagination & produce her own designs. I’m going to purchase a different set to increase her stock of pieces.

My right year old daughter lives this set. It really inspires creativity and is good value for the price.

This kit comes in an attractive, colourful and sturdy plastic box. Sadly, it didn't capture my son's imagination in the way that Lego does. The size of the box does raise expectations about the number of pieces that are contained within.

Fires my daughter’s imagination completely. She finds it easy to use and refuses to let us aid her in any way.

My 3 & 6 year old daughters love building these. These are expensive compared to non girly version but my 6 year old wouldn't have interest in the dark colours. She is not normally interested in building toys but loves the look of the parts she builds. 4 stars for price and instructions have missing pages

I ordered these for my 7 year old daughter for Christmas and the loves them! Same quality as I remember from when I was younger. We love climbing in the floor and building according to instructions as well as some of our own creations.
