I ordered this for my son who used to be a jigsaw enthusiast until he became a computer nerd. He is excellent at ordering things, sequencing them, etc. and he has found this tractor very engaging and fascinating, even to the point he has left his computer and spent time constructing this well made, sturdy model. His is not complete yet, but it is well on the way and he is loving doing it. This model would be an ideal gift for anyone who likes models or just someone who likes a challenge - there are good, mainly clear, instructions (many pages) and almost 300 parts, so you need patience and perseverance, but its worth it.The tractor is made of wood, the parts are still attached to the original sheet when the set arrives, but they are not difficult to remove, so long as you are careful and systematic. There is a small piece of sandpaper and a little block of wax to help with any stubborn bits that don't want to come off cleanly or are being difficult to fit into place, both these are very useful. The tank is cardboard, and looks simple to make, but that has not been done yet.I think this set is excellent value. It provides lots of interest over quite a period of time and when complete, should make a workable, recyclable model that does not need batteries and contains no plastic. For teenagers that enjoy model-making, it is an ideal project for doing with an adult or a friend, so its useful for a wide age group. The company is based in Ukraine and the flag for the tank is the Ukraine flag, and part of the proceeds of the sales of the tanks is being donated to support Ukraine so this is a very positive aspect too.Overall, I am very pleased with this, five stars.Update. 25.12.2022. The making of this had to be halted due to pressure of work, but at last, on Christmas Day, he has been able to return to it and its a joy to see how thoroughly he is enjoying working on it.

I really liked this kit, as it's a great eco-friendly alternative to the usual plastic models. Even though the tractor is made of wood and the tank is made of paper, the quality didn't suffer at all and they were just as easy to assemble as LEGO kits (though it has to be said that the pieces have to be removed from the wooden frame first, they don't come pre-packaged in small plastic bags).The kit contains a manual, a number of rubber bands and a spring for the mechanical structure of the tractor, and about 5 sheets of paper and wood. At first, this looked deceptively simple, but the process takes quite a while, and there are about 70 pages of instructions to sift through. These were generally simple, but I had to pay extra attention to a few of the steps to make sure I got the wheels right.Overall, I had a great time and I'm very happy that this kit doesn't add unnecessary plastic waste while still providing a detailed, well-designed model.

UGears "The Tractor Wins" wooden 3D puzzle is manufactured in Ukraine by Ukrainian Gears LLC who have put a lot of thought and detail into its design.Constructing the puzzle will keep an adult or teenager busy for quite some time. No real skills are required but having patience is a benefit as is the ability to follow instructions - it can be very frustrating to finish a section only to find you have a piece left over and have to start again. Thankfully the instructions are excellent and are provided in a glossy booklet with large detailed pictures.UGEARS produce a number of DIY plywood 3D models such as clocks, trains, racing cars etc and you can build an impressive collection over the years if you wish.Everything to complete the puzzle is supplied in the box and there is no messy glue to worry about.UGears "The Tractor Wins" wooden 3D puzzle will make a perfect gift to anyone who likes doing things with their own hands. Highly recommended - 5 stars.

Something that will keep you busy and your mind active! It's a lovely set and well made, with very good instructions to build the tractor! This is my first time building something like that, it's really sturdy and the pieces stay in place! Sometimes you need to apply a bit more pressure for the wooden pieces to stick together but nothing is broken so far which is really good.I can't get the mechanism to work even though I followed the instruction twice (had to start from scratch again) but I must misplace a piece or have done something wrong. It's very interesting to build such a thing. It's a nice way to spend your evening after work and keep you busy. I will need at least a month to finish it because I don't have much free time but I love it already. Comes with a piece of wax and all the things you need to build it. Very pleased with this product, and I will definitely buy more things to build! 100% Recommend it!

This is a nice time pass for adults and older kids. I specifically mentioned adults first coz I really loved it and it was close to enjoying building it up like I had for a few Lego sets.The price is a bit high I felt, as they are not as sturdy and for building different sets like Lego.It is a bit of work so not ideal for youngsters below 15 years old.They are sturdy and most of the joints are easy to put and needs a light push, while a few needs a little more reinforcement. There is sandpaper provided to mitigate and minor errors in the pieces.Overall, a good product but slightly overpriced.

My partner is really excited about this. Takes him back to his childhood, he says. And that was a very long time ago!!! So the pieces are really well marked out and feel nice and sturdy plywood. Easy to follow instructions and they slot together really well. But if you have the odd piece that doesn’t seem to fit then they have included a bit of sand paper to rub it down a bit. The tank is made of paper but looks easy enough to assemble. I like the fact that you are able to tow the tank once the tractor is fully assembled too but we haven’t got that far yet!! The whole kit looks like it is good quality and will keep my partner quiet and out of my hair for a while which is a bonus for me!

I have done over 10 to 20 of these models and they are great.
