The camera can be mounted on the wall with the included wall mount plate or set on a shelf. The camera is made with unremarkable plastic and feels quite ordinary. Plug-in power adapter cord is over 3 meters long and can easily reach an available power outlet. With sufficient light, the streaming video is very colorful and clear. The night vision captures video with very low light and is streamed in black and white that is very clear and surprisingly bright. The camera offers tremendous features: • Pan and Tilt • 2k Zoom • 2-way communication • Lively night vision The set up is incredibly easy and fast. One of the best features is the Android and Apple mobile App where the user interface is very intuitive and straight forward for camera control, viewing and voice communication. The Tapo’s App loads very quickly as compared to our Nest Cameras (Doorbell and exterior driveway), which are much slower even with excellent WiFi connection. The Tapo’s App will support multiple devices and cameras, which can be custom named based on its location. A tremendous feature is that the app has the ability to support multiple video streams on one screen. The App has many features that we can customize based on our needs. Given the extremely positive experience with the Tapo system, we are in the process of replacing our Nest Doorbell Camera as it keeps failing when it goes below -15°C. The Tapo’s Camera will accept up to a 512GB Micro SD card even though the description indicates 256GB. The 256GB micro SD card will hold about 384 hours (or 2 weeks) of video, depending on activity and camera resolution that is being recorded. The video on the Micro SD card can be downloaded and saved onto your mobile device or personal cloud storage. You can subscribe to Tapo’s cloud service for video storage, which is relatively expensive for multiple devices. There is No Computer (Windows 11 or Apple) access to Tapo's camera, only Android or Apple Mobile App access to camera. This is not an issue for our household, but if computer access is a must, a different video solution should be considered. The value to price ($30 +tax) for each indoor camera is exceptional | Strong buy recommendation. These Tapo indoor cameras are seriously impressive for the price. The night vision is crystal clear — I can see everything clearly even in complete darkness. The video quality during the day is also super sharp, and the motion detection alerts are quick and accurate. Setup was really easy through the app, and I like how simple the interface is to use. You can check in live anytime, which gives me so much peace of mind. One important tip: if you want to save footage without paying for a subscription, make sure you buy micro SD cards separately. The cameras support local storage, but they don’t come with the card included. Once you add one, you can record and playback without signing up for a cloud plan. Overall, amazing quality for indoor security — highly recommend!

Arrivé rapidement, bien emballé. Facile à configurer. Je n'y connais rien et ça m'a pris 5 minutes sans le manuel. La clarté des vidéos dépasse mes attentes. Et j'aime l'application. Simple et agréable. Bonne longueur de fil. J'ai mis une photo de l'entrée avec toutes les lumières fermées. Très clair. Les deux autres photos nommées "tapo 1" La caméra est devant la fenêtre. (dû à être nettoyé) L'image est meilleure avec le mode jour même si c'est la nuit. C'est aussi mieux si on éteint la lumière led. Moins de reflets. Je suis ravie de mon achat.

Easy to understand the instructions and setup I did have an issue with the second camera not connection to the wifi here, I called in for support and Neil R helped in a minute ! Excellent company :) The picture seen on the app is very clear and the night vision is also great...and in colour!
