Ortho Nutsedge Killer for Lawns Ready-To-Spray, Controls Over 50 Listed Weeds, For Use on Northern and Southern Turf Grasses, 32 fl. oz

I used this in my flower beds for the invasive nutsedge grass. It killed the grass but not my flowers. I was scared to spray it all over and so I tested it in a small area first. It attaches to the hose easily and it is also easy to start and stop. It takes about four days to see the results and so far the grass has not returned to my flower beds. I will try it on my lawn next. This is something to have on hand constantly in order to treat the invasion before it gets too bad.

My yard and gardens is overrun with Nutsedge. Pulling it causes more trouble than its worth - "nuts" in the root system separates from the roots and will more nutsedge in its place. The killer is a very effective nutsedge eradicator. It systematically kills the plant in its totality. It may take more than one application, but if caught early in its germination one application will probably work with just one application. Purchasing the combo sprayers saves a lot of money. If you have this problem, this is the way to get rid of it. It also works on other weeds as well.

Look out Nutsedge! There a new sheriff in town and he's out to clean up my yard. Ortho is a brand name known for quality fertilizers and weed control. This Ortho Nutsedge Killer (it also kills other noxious grasses and weeds) is perfect for my lawn. It kills what it's supposed to and leave the rest of my lawn alone.

After 20 plus years battling Nutsedge every summer, finally somehting that is easy to apply. For years the only product around was Sedgehammer. Sedgehammer csome in a plastci bottle of gray granules. It comes with a small spoon like plastic tool, to scoop out Sedgehammer in a 2 gallong plastic tank sprayer. You mix the granuels with water and surfectat, which can come with the Sedgehammer. Surfectant helps the mixed solution to stick to nutsedge so its absorbed by the weed. You then use tank sprayer to apply to nutsedge. Its a tedous project lugging around sprayer and spraying nutsedge manually. It can often be hot in summer months when applying. Very effective but a dreaded chore mixing and handapplying herbicide. More recent you can buty nutsedge killer in hand held spary bottle. THere are also selective herbicides with nutsedge killere. Effectivwe ut really tedious walking around and spraying on weeds. Finally an easy product that you can attach to a hose. By far the easiest method, You can get a large area covered faily quickly. The results may not be as good as nutsedge, but effectivfe. You can reapply pretty quickly if some of tbe nutsedge is not dying/dead. Nutsedge can not be eridacted it will probably return next year, some anyhow. You must keep on top of nutsedge it spreads very rapidly if not controlled. It comes up in warm months here in SD, late May or so, It will die off in late fall but probably spreading tumors when we can see nutsedge blades.

Applied to problem area and not seeing much of any effect. Will treat again see. I know this is a grass that can be difficult to get rid of.

This product was easy to spray on the nutgrass and the nutgrass was dead in a week. There was no damage to my grass. I highly recommend this product and the vendor as I received it quickly.

This product absolutely works to kill and prevent Nutsedge. Caution to not over saturate with this product. I over saturated several areas to empty the bottle and I burned the grass badly. After 3-4 soaking rains and ensuing sunshine, the burn spots have gone away and the grass has recovered. Again, do not over saturate!!!!!
