These were very handy but you can't turn them off . I have rewired mine using a soldering iron and now have one above the front door controlled by a switch inside the house and also one on the dash where I have 2 fine wires underneath which I simply twist together when I leave the car . I am also gonna fix one outside the back door controlled by a switch inside . Wires have to be kept short or the LED won't light up , I think this is because of something called volt drop . All in all they look really realistic and will definitely put off the verminous scum who wish to destroy your expensive stuff , with a little effort I have made my house and car feel very safe , the cameras look so real , I'm very pleased , absolute bargain .

The dummy cameras come in normal size dome, easy to install but in my opinion it looks much realistic without putting batteries in cause as soon as you see the light blinking, it gives you a fake feeling. I also needed to open three of em to put the plastic lens back in the hole cause it fell off. It took ~1 minute per camera to place the lens back which was not such a big thing. Overall if the light is off it gives you the feeling like someone is watching you so I will give 4/5 stars.

These are great. Second batch of these I've purchased.Looks the business, and if you wish you could used them with batteries (I don't), but beware the red light is quite bright (much brighter than you'd expect if it was a real camera). To turn the light on/off just push the whole unit.Can be screwed in, but as they are so light without batteries, double sided tape does the job.Would recommend both as dummy-CCTV cameras, and as Santa-cams for those who have kids/grandkids and want them to be on their best behaviour during December. :)

The details of the product shows that the red light flashes on when activated by movement. This is incorrect. The red light stays on permanently. The item requires a movement sensor so that the red light is not on permanently, it would then be be more like a real camera. The English printing on the outside of the box is poor and this has know doubt caused problems with the description.

I have got. CCTV cameras I bought these one as extra security I think they look good not only that if people see these as well they will think twice.im glad I bought them as I live on my own it gives more protection from intruders.thankyou Helen Tyler
