Replacement for Cable Tacs
I bought this primarily for cabling home and small office networks where I wanted a faster and neater application than using conventional cable tacs. I opted for the Combi stapler because while I mainly use Cat5e I occasionally use 2 pair UTP cabling so this way I didn't need a separate stapler. I have tested both CT-60 and CT-45 staples and both work well in this stapler. It has an all metal construction so build quality is solid as expected. Loading staples into this is very easy and only takes a few seconds to do, this is convenient when you are on a job and need to change staple sizes without too much fuss. My only niggle is it didn't come with staples included as some reviews mentioned so I bought them separately. All in all this is a very good cable stapler from a reputable company and is a useful tool for any network/cable engineer. Recommended.

professional looking finish to job.
I wish i bought this years ago, it was perfect for tacking virgin cable around my house,i did it years ago and tacked it all together with clips i had to hammer in(sore thumbs), it will work on sky cable and thinner wire also like stereo or phone cable, but if u planning on using it for electrical cable the tacks arent wide enough, plus i dont think it would be suitable anyway as the tacks can pierce the cable and it could then be dangerous once plugged in. not a great deal of pressure needed for each tack punch, great product, cheers.

Great idea
Not as good as the rapid one I ve had for years. Has quite a few miss fires. BUT It can take both size staples. At the same time aswell. It's an ingenious adaption. It's solid in build. Not as solid as the rapid ones but it is almost half the price. And definitely better than the plastic ones I ve tried. I use for work installing CCTV and network equipment with no real issues

great, neat and tidy.
having used this for a couple of weeks now, I can say its a great product. it feels like a well built bit of kit. I have had a cable stapler in the past, But it was a very cheap plastic one, no were near as well built as this one. as an engineer, I install alarm systems and CCTV systems for a living, I have been using this for both and it has exceeded my expectations. this stapler even has enough power to clip cables to a solid oak beam with no problem. its very neat and tidy, and doesn't stress the cable or crease the cable jacket (even on delicate CAT5e cable) over all I'm very impressed, there are cheaper ones on the market, but in my experience you defiantly get what you pay for.

Perfect
This is the best cable stapler I have ever used. I have not experienced any jams with it, it is easy to use and refill. I like the fold down handle for easy storage in a toolbox. Because I had just recently received this stapler I have not used it for long periods. It has tidied up my sons speaker cables and our extension telephone cables. I also use it for picture framing, this was the main purpose of my ordering it. I use the staples in place of picture eye hooks. Does a perfect job. Highly recommend this Combi Stapler.

Top Quality Product.
5 Star Product. Good weight to it and solid construction. I used this with the 14mm CT-60 Staples for fixing CAT 5e Ethernet Cable along top of skirting. Worked perfect every press. No mis firing during my use of the Stapler. I have owned the cheaper version Z3 CT-45 , which I used for another job but had to return it due to misfire and product falling apart. I would highly recommended the Combi Cable Tacker for any tacking jobs that you have.

Waste of money
I bought this stapler for cat5e cable and after one day of using this the release button spring broke and I can no longer use it! Whilst it was working it was great and saved me a lot of time but a massive shame the build quality is so poor.

Once your up and running this is great, makes the job look super tidy and professional, at first its a bit fiddly but it soon becomes easy. Very happy with purchase, not cheap but its worth the price and is a sturdy piece of kit

Working on large home improvement projects, we found ourselves needing a way to cleanly attach cables to the walls - without crushing them. ===Comparison=== For the sake of discovering the best product, we purchased this and the Arrow T50 (a stapler that many professionals recommended): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00002ND61/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00002ND61&linkCode=as2&tag=todmedblo-20&linkId=M24YJD74SF2GHR2A In summary: we found that the Tacwise is easier to use and jams less than the T50. While the T50 may have once been the best on the market, it seems that their production quality has decreased significantly. ===Recommendations=== If you've decided to go ahead and purchase the Tacwise, you'll need to pick out which staples are right for your job. If you'll be stapling large wires like ethernet or coax, you'll want their 9/16: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000NNPXHY/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B000NNPXHY&linkCode=as2&tag=todmedblo-20&linkId=N3PAG5TEQA2NRFLV The 9/16 staples fit our cat5 ethernet cable perfectly - it squeezed the cables just enough to allow you to have some tension (so that it doesn't sag between staples) but not enough to damage the cable or degrade performance. If you're smart about it, the 9/16 staples also provide enough space to run two sets of speaker wires beneath one staple - which worked perfectly for our rear speakers. I hope you found this helpful!
