I bought this kit for my 10 year old nephew and it is the best gift I have ever bought him! His face lights up whenever he makes a new project and has learned so much about circuits and logic with the coding blocks in just a few days. I wanted to get something that would work with his other lego parts so this kit was perfect and you can attach the legos directly onto the microcontroller board. We built the first project together and I found the guides are also really easy to follow and perfect for beginners of any age. Other kits I looked at were not as hands-on and versatile, and I know he will use this for a long time as it offers a transition into higher level coding languages like Python. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for an accessible intro kit to hands on coding!

My daughter got this as a gift. The instructions were easy to follow, she figured it our all on her own by following the lessons on the Boolean Girl website. We are thinking about a second one for our other daughter so we can use the radio feature to have them communicate. Problem solving, following directions, driving creativity and creating interest are all things that I am seeing all as my daughter uses this kit.

We were pretty amazed by all the things you can do with the kit. We zipped through the first few lessons, and just finished the Weather Station. What a great way to learn about the internet of things by integrating internet weather data with an LED on a board! Our family is having a lot of fun with Boolean Box.

This kit was very easy to get started with and use. My son loves it. He was getting bored with coding. The ability to 'make things happen' that comes with this kit (lights and such) re-invigorated his coding interest.Ha ha, now he wants to buy more legos, but that's ok!

Could not get pass the connecting the bluebird step. The device would turn on but the website which it should connect to does not even connect to it. No use in buying something that requires bluetooth AND network connection.The webpage from the instructions does not offer any troubleshooting solutions.
