fantastic product, why did i wait so long to get one?!
super easy to operate and works very well. This was a huge time-saver when it came time to tag baby clothes for a consignment sale, and i felt confident that it was much less likely to damage the clothing than using safety pins! I never thought such a low price tagging gun would work so well, now i am kicking myself for not getting this much sooner! Great value, order it, you wont be disappointed!

Perfect tagger for Consignment Sales!
I love this tagging gun! I used it for like 100 pieces of clothing and this worked great. The needle is sharp and small so it did not leave a large hole like some do. It has a little needle cover too. I've tried others and this works great. It arrived quickly and was priced well. I highly recommend it!!

Solid tagging gun, built to last
I just started writing reviews thus the late review. I've had this Avery tagging gun since 2010 and have used it close to 1000 times without any problems (a few jams here and there). I know it's been about 1000 since I'm out of barbs and needed to purchase more. I posted a current picture, it still works and looks brand new. I went with Avery for the name brand. I've never used any other tagging guns so I don't know if this is better or worse but I know it will last a long time.

Appears cheap but actually works great
It feels kind of chintzy but actually it works great. I use it to label t-shirts through the neck tag and it is simple and easy. Great value for the money spent. I use occasionally to tag 25-30 items at one sitting. You do need gloves or thimbles or something to be sure you don't stick yourself, but I'm sure that's the same with every tagger probably.4/25/2015 update - haven't been able to use it as a few months later it broke - husband keeps trying to fix it but won't work consistently but when it does, it is the only brand that truly has fine tagging. I bought a couple more and all broke after a few hundred uses - jammed - but with patience can get it to work again

HIGHLY RECOMMEND
WORKED GREAT! BOUGHT ANOTHER ONE FOR EXTRA. LOTS OF BARBS. I USED THIS WHEN I WAS UPHOLSTERING THINGS AND HAD LAYERS OF BASE FABRIC, WHITE LOFTY MELTING WITH IRON PRODUCT AND OURSIDE UPHOLSTERY FABRIC. EASY TO LOAD, EASY TO USE, VERY SHARP NEEDLE. HELD ALL 3 LAYERS TO BASE SO I COULD EASILY IRON WITH STEAM TO MELT THE STICKY WHITE STUFF THAT HELD IT ALL TOGETHER. EASY TO REMOVE WHEN DONE

Works adequately = cheaply made
For the 'best in the industry' tagger, it is very flimsy in construction, hover it is comparable to the one it was replacing. I wonder why they can't make one of sturdier materials?Functionally, it works fine.
User
Quality product well worth it!
Much better quality than others that Iโve purchased locally from the well known chain

This Tagging Gun Is Strangely Made- Had To Return and Buy Another
I have used tagging gins before this purchase, but I needed a fine needle. Most tagging guns have needles that sit at the outside of the tagging gun, so you poke and tag. This one was different. The needle was on the inside of the gun and did not eject til you pulled the trigger which made it impossible to tag my merchandise - when needle is naturally on outside, you can push the tags onto the needle and then attach them with ease but not not with this one! Returned .

Not the best
Not great. Hard to load. Tags kept getting stuck. Stopped using mine.

FINE NEEDLE price gun
If your looking for a FINE NEEDLE gun this is perfect, The difference in the needle size is the difference in the size of the hole left behind. This gun is perfect for fine clothes where you want the hole to be a small as possible. It was easy to learn and do.They have a step by step U tube video if you need any extra help in learning how to set it up and do it.UPDATE: I HAVE USED THIS OVER 500 TIMES IN A ROW AND IT NEVER ONCE JAMMED, WORKED PERFECT EVERY TIME.

No tags included
Does not come with the plastic tags, even though it says it does. Ordered a replacement, still no tags so returned both.
User
