Fox Run Junior Cooking and Baking Tools Set, Wood, 9-Piece

These are perfect for my 2 year old when he plays with play-doh and kinetic sand. They are great quality and I love that they are plastic-free.

These tools are very useable and durable for young children to use with play dough etc. My grandchildren love them. Nicely made as well.

There are two things stopping me from giving this item a 5 star rating. The first is that it is because it is presented as a children's toy. I do not recommend this for children unless they are solely going to be using this in a play kitchen and you want to sand and seal the items first. There were quite a few rough edges that I had to smooth out to avoid splinters right out of the bag. Beyond that, all but one of the items are very solid and well-made. I bought them with a home decor project in mind - and they were perfect for that purpose! I don't think I could have found anything that would have suited the project better. Well...except for reason #2 why I couldn't give 5 stars. The whisk was broken (one of the tines had cracked in half). At first I figured I would just glue it back together and that part could be hidden. Craft glue did not work. Hot glue did not work. Gorilla glue didn't work. E6000 did not work. No amount of clamping would help. Letting it dry for a week didn't work. I noticed a couple of other reviews said their whisk was broken too. Luckily, there are enough pieces for me to move forward without that one tool so it's not worth trying to exchange it. Bottom line - if you are looking for a great small wooden kitchen set for crafting or DIYing (and don't have your heart set on a whisk) - I highly recommend this one.

My two year old nephew will carry around the spoon and the rolling pin to help his Mom when she's cooking. :-) He loves to help out and loved his Christmas present. It all works, it's all wood, and my Sister in law was so excited that I got this set for him. She was thinking of getting a kid's kitchen but since he likes to play with the real stuff and help stir, this made more sense for our little chef. :-)

So bummed - these are cute and the perfect size for my little kids but the tongs snapped in half and the whisk can't be used with anything much else than liquid or they'd break.

so cute for the kids but sometimes an adult could use smaller utensils. Its awesome.

These are adorable. I use them as a display in my kitchen. I'm thinking about staining them darker though (they will never be used for anything but decor)

Items had tough feel to them, I had to sand them before giving to my daughter. Whisk broke immediately and is frankly a safety hazard for children.
