Q: How do you clean the chair if a stain is on it?

The care guidance states to use any commercial stain remover but to test first on an inconspicuous spot to be sure it’s color safe. Depending on the stain I would try soap and water, or vinegar and water or other home remedies

Q: How come the screw holes for the back legs are defective so the screws cannot hold the legs???

Just put mine together and I have the same issue. The back legs keep swiveling even when the screw is at the tightest

Q: what exactly needs to be assembled?

The back and side arm panels must be snapped into place and the 4 feet must be screwed on. Although this is relatively simple, aligning the panels into the slots so they can SNAP in securely is a little tricky and may require 2 people to get the alignment correct. If not correctly aligned the chair will be "shaky" and "wobbly" (not a good thing). Although one reviewer said she put the chair together by herself in 10 minutes, I think she must have Wonder Woman written on her chest LOL. Realistically, it took my husband and I, 30 minutes to assemble and we have been putting furniture together for many, many years. All that being said, it's a great, solid, nice looking chair which I'm sure my husband will make use of for years to come.
