Learn How To Draw And Have Fun!
I've always liked to draw but I was never very good at it. But I also have never tried to learn to draw. Until I started reading this kind of book. Even though they are meant for children, they are helping me immensely, especially with learning about size and proportion, which is my weakest point. With this book, you can learn about perspective and about exercise before drawing and you can learn how to draw very funny thing like animal hybrids. My favorites are kiwidgehog (kiwi and hedgehog), rabbish (rabbit and reddish), and snaiberry (snail and strawberry). The Wordplay part favorite is definitely superstar and fire works. But the fun doesn't stop there. Try it and have fun!

I want to try some of them
I like this drawing book so much, I'm starting to believe that is good for adults too. I mean, with all the funny things to draw, I want to try some of them. I can only imagine how great it is for children. Can't wait to try this out with my little neighbors. In the beginning, there is some general advice on drawing - how to steady your hand by drawing simple shapes, and what kind of material you can use. After that, it's only a mater of perspective and finding basic shapes in what seams to be complicated things. It's good to know that nothing is too hard once seen like two or three simple shapes.

Different from the usual how-to-draw kids books!
Kids love to draw! With a little practice and some simple instruction, any child (or adult, for that matter) can improve their skills. HOW TO DRAW FUNNY THINGS by Made Easy Press is a great book for kids who want to learn how to draw and have fun! The great thing about kids how-to-draw books is that the examples and exercises are simple and enjoyable. This book is different from the usual how-to-draw kids books so it comes highly recommended from me.

Having fun learning to draw
Made Easy Press has the handle on instruction for kids. Their first books included PIANO FOR BEGINNERS – both in learning to play nursery rhymes and Christmas carols. Now they turn their attention to drawing, and the result is both entertaining – and instructive on a high level! This book is HOW TO DRAW FUNNY THINGS.After some sound information on the basic principles of drawing (starting simple, sizes and proportions, breaking down into shapes, perspective), the instruction begins with simple exercises and moves into the clever creations for drawing. The items to be drawn are animal food hybrids - caulisheep, duckonan, watermelion, rabbish, pizzacock, snailberry; wordplay – fire works, smart phone, butterfly, unicorn, hot dog; animal hybrids – Rhinoctopus, oxtrich, sharkitty, flamingopotamus, pandaroo – and lots more. As they reassure the artist – ‘Once you’ve practiced the drawings in this book and the others in this series, you’ll start to feel more confident making your own unique drawings and creations – which is really what the joy of art is all about!’The skills are well taught, and the humor in the themes to draw is terrific. This is an excellent drawing instruction book! Recommended

A fun and creative way to draw
This was actually great to have on my kindle, which I didn't expect. Having it downloaded actually made me use it more, especially when I was traveling, or with family. This is great if you have a kid whos bored on a long trip, or just wants to do something fun in the evening with family. It also seemed to really spark creativity, as it made me think of drawing in a new way. Fun!

Cute and obscure
Obscurity is what makes it good, there are tons of funky little things to draw. It's very much presented as what it isA "how to-- for drawing funny things"

Great for adults as well
This is one of a couple books I picked up from this author to get some practice in to use my graphic drawing tablet. I've found it useful as a beginner learning to draw and learn about perspective and using guideline shapes to create different objects. It's been super helpful to develop my skills!
