Simple devices but great to use. Keeps all threads untangled

I use these little bobbins to wind my wool for intarsia on my knitting machine, although they would work just as well for hand knitting. They stop the balls of wool getting tangled with each other. Would like them to be a bit bigger so I could get more wool on each one but they save a lot of hassle.

Tenu is cheaper but needed urgently so used amazon. But having said that I love these they are SO handy with all my crochet and knitting Why did you choose this product over others?: Used before

These are fantastic pliable little spools to wind thread around. You open them to wrap the thread around then flex the spaceship domed part closed to lock your thread in situ, which holds securely once locked. I am using these for cross stitch. They are particularly fab for full coverage cross stitch. Highly recommend. I bought 5 or 6 packs, so I always have plenty for several projects. I had seen people using these but had no idea what they were called & hence what word to use for searching for them, I am so glad I stumbled upon these here on Amazon, an absolute God-send for keeping your thread from getting into an awful fankle (old Scottish word for a muddle).
