This is the best fake tan I’ve ever used. It’s also the easiest to apply - just spray evenly. I close my eyes and spray over my whole face, neck and chest. I have sensitive eyes but this product doesn’t irritate at all. It develops really quickly and looks natural - no orange! I always get orange nails from applying cream fake tans, no matter how quickly I wash my hands after applying, but not from this one. It also dries pretty quickly. I moisturise my face first and find it doesn’t matter how much moisturiser I’ve used - the product still works over a lot of moisturiser. When you first apply it, the scent is lovely with no fake tan smell. However, I found that quite a strong fake tan smell did appear and intensify as the day wore on. So, I now only apply the product at night - there’s very little colour reduction when you cleanse your face the following morning. My skin tone is sallow Caucasian (medium, not fair) so the dark version works perfectly for me. Being sallow, I can look very yellow (not in a good way!) but this product eliminates that and gives me a healthy glow. So far, it doesn’t appear to have stained any clothes, although I’ve only been using it for a short time and haven’t worn anything white yet. Usage - a light spray gives an immediate healthy glow. You can just build it up for a deeper tan. Just bear in mind that one can doesn’t go very far if you use it on a daily basis.

This stuff works! I used to use this years ago, stopped for no particular reason but wanted to give it another go as I wear makeup less and less, work from home a lot but wanted to get a sunkissed look to give me confidence when popping to the shops / being on camera for calls etc. Spray and done is the order of the day with this. Lovely fine, continuous mist, dies in about 10 seconds, develops in 1 hour (maybe slightly quicker). I wear a shower cap when applying to protect my hair and wipe my eyebrows with a cotton bud once done. Tip I’ve learned; apply to a clean, moisturised but DRY face. The product wont adhere to damp or over moisturised skin. Highly recommend.

Not the darkest mist I have ever tried However as I have sensitive skin, not had any real issue, one time I had a spot using it, but fine now. I would say this one I am reviewing is too light for me, only a slight difference to my natural pale self, but it does give minimal colour on me. I want it natural, and it is, just takes a lot of mist, to get the colour I want. By far the best (and easiest to apply) tan I've ever used, and I've used plenty! Gives the face a healthy glow without clogging pores and causing breakouts. I switched for a short while to a more "luxury" brand and its still over half full and replaced again with this.

Good coverage , easy to apply

Wanted this to prepare for a wedding in Greece so I don't glow like fluorescent white light, so tried it out first on a section of my forearm here at home. Tried to spray evenly, and turned a nice brown tan after three hours. Didn't realise that I had sprayed more enthusiasticly as I moved on, and there were two distinct areas, one far more brown than the other. I used Micellar cleansing water rather than soap and water and it all came off. So, that puts paid to doing my face before leaving and leaving the aerosol behind as I am only taking cabin luggage, as it will all wash off. If you get the technique right obviously fine for home but not for my immediate need. Looks like I'll have to keep my fingers crossed that I colour quickly, or find some decent body makeup when I get there.

I’ve been using the Garnier Face Tanning Mist for about a year now, and honestly, I love it. I used to swear by the L’Oréal version, but since that was discontinued, this has become my go-to… and I might even prefer it! ✅ Pros: Super easy to apply – the fine mist means no streaks and no rubbing in. Dries quickly – I can get dressed almost straight after, which is a huge plus. Smells way better than most tans — not overpowering or overly "fake tany" Natural, buildable colour – I usually do one coat for a glow, two for a deeper tan. ⛔️ Cons: The spray can get a little patchy if you don’t exfoliate first. Doesn’t always last as long as mousse formulas — I tend to reapply every 3–4 days. My routine: I use it after exfoliating and moisturizing dry areas. I hold the can about 20cm away and spray in circular motions. No mitt needed, and it doesn’t leave that sticky feeling — it’s honestly ideal if you hate the faff of traditional fake tans. Final thoughts: If you’re after an easy, natural-looking tan without orange tones or mess, this is such a good find. It’s totally replaced my old favourite, and I’ll keep repurchasing as long as Garnier makes it.
