Quality looked better in the picture and the zip and opening was ill fitting and clumsy. I wanted it for a gift but instead returned it for a refund

This is a very practical, large cosmetic bag which actually looks lovely too. It doesn’t really look like leather, it's too smooth, but it’s a nice quality version of a faux material, in a cream colour (not white as described). It has good stitching, with well inserted zips that glide nicely (so far at least!). Inside it has a nice coffee-coloured lining, with a useful deep zipped pocked on one side and and open pocket on the other.I’ve seen a few make up / wash bags lately with a structured opening - metal bands inserted which mean the bag can hold itself open as it sits on your shelf. I’m not too bothered either way, though I can see why some people find it quick and convenient when getting ready. This one is done really nicely though, the metal rim isn’t as thick as in others, it works just as it should and I think they’ve got the balance just right.I really like that there’s a zippered pocket at the bottom of the bag - see the product photos to see what you can put in it. I personally rather like it for toothbrushes, toothpaste and other things that get a bit damp.Note there’s a little phrase printed on one side - I usually hate that, but I really like this because it’s done in a classy and unobtrusive way. It says: “Life is a journey /The simpler the happier”It fits everything in that I would want to take away with me - and more. I haven’t been able to test it for long to check its longevity, so I’ll update if there’s any problems there. I really like it for myself and I’d definitely give it as a gift at the current price of £14.99.

This exceeded my expectations.Firstly it feels expensive, secondly is so roomy it can take many more items than I have, in the pictures you’ll see I managed to cram paddle brush, baby wipes, 2 x 250ml bottles, large tin of Nivea, and there was still so much more room to put more in.The zip part is odd as there is metal running along the length of the zip to keep it clasped together which also is slightly bent, this allows for the top of the bag to be folded to one side when closed.I’m not sure I will use the bottom section, because although I like the idea of my brushes being separate from the main compartment, I’m not fond of the idea that the top is folded over onto its side to get into the bottom, but that is just my personal preference.In the main compartment are two pockets, one on each side. I could get my bronzer brush and eyebrow brush in one side, and the other side took several lipsticks.

Double Layer Makeup Bag, Travel Toiletry Bag for Women is for me a toiletry bag I like mainly because of the one main reason the amount of storage it offers is perfect for me personally. I like the double compartments as it means I am able to keep brushes etc in their own compartment which not only helps prevent used cosmetics from being transferred to the inside of the bag which makes the bag look dirty and untidy, especially if using it away from home.The top of the bag is designed to hold a lot of cosmetics with the bonus of larger items that can be stored within the bag. I also like the fact the bag stays upright even when open which means I can find immediately what I am looking for.This bag is perfect for holding cosmetics, toiletries or medication and the fact it holds them easily makes it a bag which I know I will be using regularly.Happy to recommend.

The storage capacity in this bag is good and it can hold a lot and I like the double layer element it has as that’s handy and helpful for when I’m travelling. Unfortunately I wasn’t so pleased with the top section of the bag as the metal poles inside the top stick out and caught my hand and could cause issues with catching on clothing in my suitcase for example so I won’t be continuing to use it for those reasons. It is a nice design but because it has that design flaw I can’t really recommend it unless you keep in it the same place or room. The value for money because of this is poor and I wouldn’t advise getting it until this flaw has been rectified. It is a shame because the bag does have positives and potential!
