They work just fine, but the adhesive is on the short edge, not the long edge like genuine Post It notes. A very minor disappointment for me. Decades of using Post It notes create an expectation and habit, now these come along to burst my balloon. If you don't have such an expectation, you'll be fine with these.

I bought these since they had a good number of pads for the money, and because they had really good colors. Unfortunately, I did not realize they stick on the short end rather than the long end like similarly sized 3M post-it-notes. The sticky part is not quite sticky enough so they peel off too easily and sometimes fall on the floor. Also the paper is a bit too thin, so it curls up too much reducing the adhesion and not lying flat as one would expect.

I didn’t realize how perfect these are for using in a planner! Like Hobonichi Techo and Wonderland222. Unlike other sticky note brands of this same size, the adhesive is on the shorter end, so these fit almost perfectly in an A5 column vertically, with the sticky on top when vertical. The colors are very nice, with both pastel and brights, and several pads of each. They hold well to paper and remove easily with no residue.

The adhesion covers half the back of note, which actually makes them more secure than some other brands. Likely would make good tabs if used that way. As such, a little more "stuck" on, but so far no residue or tiny pieces of the sticky note are left behind. They work great for what I need them for in an office setting.

I was expecting a typical sticky note of this size, and was disappointed.The adhesive is not on the longer side, as is standard in every other sticky note of this size that I’ve encountered over many years.. Nothing in the product description or pictures suggested this, though it came up in some reviews I read after receiving and thinking there had been some mistake.The product description says they don’t “curl up”, which in hindsight seems an odd thing to mention. On the packaging they offered a tip on removing the notes from the pad , “Right way to use it”. [!!!! ????] Then, illustrating “1. Tear the one side at first 2. Then tear the other side”. Who knew there was a right way to remove a sticky note from the pad? Then it explains, “This tear way can effectively prevent the paper from curling up and failling [sic?] off”.I hadn’t read this instruction before taking out the first pad, and removing the first note, wait, it’s not tearing off the long way? And the note curled up from the page I stuck it to!Now I paid attention to the package, and read the instructions…which I was so thrilled to have available for the tip on how to prevent this curling. But do I really want to need to use these sticky notes differently from the 38 other partially used pads I have scattered about?Nonetheless, I’ve opened the package, so here goes. Pull up from one side part way, and then tear up from the other side, to completely remove…I try this a couple more times, and possibly achieve a lesser curl on my last try. The other notes are discarded.After 2+ days of my test case sticky note being attached to a surface, it is still curling, though perhaps not as much. I would not want to jostle the surface it’s on too much for fear that the note might detach and glide to the floor.Regrettably, I’ve concluded that this purchase was a waste of money, and wonder how I can responsibly rid myself of these encumbrances.Sincerely,
