Great idea and has helped training with my Golden Retriever. However, the grass mat gets very smelly and needs deep cleaning every other time my pup uses it because the artificial grass blades are so long and hold onto the urine pungent smell. I replaced this grass with a very short pile (10 mm) outdoor play grass. What a difference. Now this cleans and dries very quickly and my pup uses it with ease. I give the concept and quality 5 stars but the grass provided makes it 4 stars overall.

We were keen to try this as we have artificial grass in the garden, so the surface would be exactly the same. The mat really wasn't big enough for the puppy to use, by the time she had a sniff around and turned a few circles, she was on the floor. Maybe this says more about the pup than than the product, but certainly not any use for this household.

Me and my partner bought this as a way of training our 5 year old Jack Russell because he kept having accidents indoors. After a few weeks of training he now uses this as his pee Matt. Cleaning is relatively easy, however I will add putting a bit of kitty litter in the bottom of the box helps reduce spillage and staining. Make sure you get some good air freshener too as after an hour or two if you haven't cleaned the box out, the ammonia from the pee gives you a massive headache

Took ages to arrive, it was supposed to be next day delivery but it never materialised, box did not even have my name on it so my neighbours could not collect it for me. In any event, the product is good, perhaps I should have selected a bigger size but my shih tzu loves it.

My dog and me have disagreements over where she should pee. I think 'garden' - she thinks 'where I can get away with it'. I tried this and it (or I) failed to make a difference and my home continues to have a special smell. It is however well made and easy to clean and your pooch might benefit more than mine has.

Good quality but my dog just barked at it. Returned easily though.

We have a 'tea cup' Yorkie cross and live in the Highlands.... there's no way she could go outside to pee when it snows here, which it does, often..... so we trained her to go on puppy pads, but this is much better as now she knows to go on it AND to go outside when she can. Tip..... put a puppy pad on the bottom layer to soak up the pee and then you don't have to worry about a spill when you rinse it out etc.
