Is this hammer suitable for knocking in fenceposts?

Yes, this sledge could be used for knocking in 2x2 or 3x3 fence posts, but due to the small diameter of the head, it is likely that you might split the posts depending on the size of post and your accuracy. If you have quite a few posts to knock in such as 4x4 or 5x4 you might want to consider a post rammer or a post maul hammer with a larger diameter flat head, which unfortunately we do not sell.

Will it break very large yorkshire stones

Hi, depends on the stone I guess, but I cannot see any reason why it shouldn't. It's a substantial lump hammer. The choice is entirely yours at the end of the day.

Does this break bricks easily without swinging it too much?

It is like a long-handled club hammer rather than a sledge hammer. It is a great tool for the money So more a hammer action than a swinging one. It will break bricks and blocks.

Although the head is hexagon shaped, the strike face is a rough circle of diameter 42/43mm. This is an incredible tool. I use it mainly for splitting logs with a log grenade. You can also switch hands and use 2 handed when you get tired. I would say it's perhaps not so good if using with a chisel in the other hand.
