Highly recommend.
Fabulous bowl for portion control, used daily to help maintain a healthy diet, and part of my weight loss programme. Now have two. Been using for 18 months, we'll constructed and hard wearing.

The book is handy and the bowl is okay but ...
The book is handy and the bowl is okay but can be hard to line up the cereals with the line in the bowl because the lines are quite close together.

The bowl is great but the plate is not always suitable
The bowl works perfectly for cereals and soup. The plate however is more restricted, as the food groups need to be separate for it to work. Pasta (lasagne), pizza, fajitas, burritos, stir-fry and fish pie for example all need measuring separately before being put together.

Not fit for purpose
This bowl is far to big to help with portion control, it is deceiving as it can not be precise due to size, it is to easy for people trying to lose weight or just control what they are eating to actually eat to much, as a post bariatric patient it is essential not too use large plates or bowls.Also there is no way for you to return it, as it does not give you that option.For me this was a complete waste of money as they are not cheap and thinking that this would be like my last bowl that I sadly broke I bought 2 of them, if you are serious about portion control, then this is not for you,

Calorie Counted Breakfast Cereal Bowl
I bought the breakfast bowel after buying the plate and I'm pleased that i did like most good ideas it's so simple that even a mere male like me can understand it I have not lost weight yet but it's early days yet and I still have to get used to cooking less volume and I also have to be careful as I am a diabetic It was a bit pricey but worth it and it will last (unless I drop it ). I would recommend both the bowel and the plate to anyone trying to lose weight and their waste line.

Ideal portion control
This bowl, which is beautifully crafted, is perfect for easy measuring portion sizes. It works for soup as well as for cereal making it more useful. If you are looking for portion control to achieve weight loss, it is ideal.
