Training for the crossfit games review.
This is an excellent record of great programming. I chose this book as the results of Julie foucher speak for them selves & Doug Chapman is a great coach. The book is great as it is simple and easy to use. However even with the terminology key in the back of the book I would say it is for the experienced crossfitter only, as you need to be competent in all movements, the book tells you what to do but not how to do individual skills & movements. This is not a fault in the book, it isn't about that, it is for athletes who know what they are doing and want great results.

For the serious crossfit athlete....
If you have purchased this book hoping to get into crossfit by following her day to day schedule, you will fail. You will need a good 6 months to a year of intense crossfit training under your belt ATLEAST, before following this. However, if you have been training for crossfit consistently for that amount of time, and are stuck in terms of programming your daily workouts, this is perfect. Clear, concise and will make you a better athlete

Not What I Imagined It Was Going To Be
Thought this was going to be more of a diary of how she prepared for the games but was just a list of workout programmes. I am sure it is a very good book if that is what you are after but wasn't for me.

Insightful
Interesting to see what it takes to make to the games. However i though there would be more explanation of the training cycles and reasons behind the programming. Guess i should have looked at the content more carefully.
