Universal Fitting Replacement Safety Radiator Valve Caps/Tops (6 Pack - Wheelheads)

I was concerned that my little one would easily pull of the old lockshield valve covers and injure herself on the brass valve head so these items looks like a good way to stop that happening.They fit really snugly over the valve body, and cannot be removed after fitting unless you bust them. Its a one shot deal.I have also noticed that they valve cannot be adjusted if it's stiff in operation as these valve caps just seem to spin and not actually engage the valve. This meant I had to break one of them off in order to adjust the valve.That said, it's better to have a cover over the valve than nothing at all, as the consequences of a baby impaling themselves on a brass valve head do not even bear considering.

Easy to fit but quality could be better.For the price they are excellent.

Replacement tax valve, works ok. Not sure how long it will last seems a bit flimsy. However all universal fittings supplied. Wait and see.

I had great hopes for these, but the plastic quality was weak and the metal lock fittings are impossible to seat properly. Consequently they are simply unusable. Of the package, I only got 2 to fit & function properly, the others were damaged while fitting and then unusable. Being damaged I sadly cannot return them.

Just what was required to smarten the appearance. The selection of Drive disks makes for a perfect fit and operation of the valves. They are easy to fit in seconds. Also needed to put one on a Lockshield that was obstructed by furniture and impossible to get a spanner on , and it fitted perfectly, valve can now be set for balancing without a spanner.

While the product will fit every, if not most, valves the plastic used is prone to tear. For stiff valves, the metal spindles may cut through the plastic settings removing any purchase on the valve. I would recommend you insert two spindles instead of the recommended one to spread out the force on the plastic setting.

I bought these as I had two towel rails where the plastic valve caps had broken and I could not find any replacements. I initially tried the cheaper caps with a rubber insert but these would not stay on. Purchased these and although they are more expensive they come with numerous fixings and one of these worked perfectly. No more ugly bare towel rail valves.

Items arrived in good time, well wrapped and in good condition.Selecting the items that I needed was easy, but assembling them properly was awkward as there was little control of positioning once the cap was lifted over..
