I love to build cities of brick. As you might expect, the process requires thousands of bricks. That being said, had I stuck with Lego, there was no way I could afford it. I am on a limited income and spent much time looking at clone bricks - those Chinese-made of which there are many brands. My number one choice for this is the Barcaloo 1000 Piece Play Set. To date, I have purchased six bags. They are solidly built and come in the Lego Classic Colors. So you need more bricks? Of course, you do. Barcaloo gives you a good variety of both 1X and 2X bricks and because they are not exorbitantly priced and readily available through Amazon, getting the bricks you need for your next project is fast and easy. I highly recommend this product and have passed it along verbally to my brick-building friends. Happy building!

I bought this set for use in a child care setting with approximately 40 kids. I originally bought a box of 484 Legos, but found that with the large number of kids that wanted to play with them, I needed to get more. The box of Legos I bought were $27.99, and I estimated I'd need at least two more boxes to have enough to keep all the kids happy. I did not want to spend $56 dollars on approximately 1000 Legos, so I had the idea to look up generic bricks instead. I'm glad I did, because this bricks set was less than half the price of an equivalent number of name brand Legos.The bricks arrived in a bag, which worked well because I already had a big box to store the bricks in. The bricks fit tightly both to each other, and with name-brand Lego bricks. I was impressed with the quality and value of these bricks, and I will likely be purchasing more in the future. I see no discernible difference between these bricks and the name brand.

I wanted to supplement my kids building time with some blocks that were a bit less of a specific model. I certainly have plenty of specific models which help them remember how to rebuild a specific shape. But, these are great for a bit more imagination, vibrant basic colors, tons of different sizes, thick and thin, and work well with the other brand I bought for the wheels. Now my kids are building jets and cars and I even made a track for racing on. Overall a great experience. My kids love them. So, every Saturday we have some building time.Perfect price, seem durable and work great.

I didn't want to spend a ton of money, but I did want quality and a consistent fit - this product has just that - I can't even tell the difference between these and legos! They all fit together nicely (I have yet to find a single block that doesn't fit with these blocks or with legos). I'm very pleased and impressed - and there are so many nice, standard-sized blocks, I can build whatever I want and mix it into my legos with confidence, knowing they will all fit together well. I would buy these again, for a gift or if I need more blocks! Excellent quality!

I really like that you can get a large back of the big blocks and not have to get more of the "Special" pieces LEGO sells. My son is building a house so he needed a lot of regular blocks. Bought two bags of these, super affordable especially compared to LEGO. The flat pieces are a bit more bendy than LEGO but not problematic.

Nice assortment and they work fine with our 30+ year old Legos.
